Visiting Sebastopol without walking up Florence Ave. is like visiting Paris without stopping by the Eiffel Tower -- don't skip it. Florence Avenue is 1/3 of a mile (.33) in length and only 3 blocks off Main Street. Most, if not all, homes on the street have a whimsical Amiot in the front yard, many of which reflect something about the resident(s). It takes less than 10 min to walk the length without stopping and the art is wonderfully clever!

Cow, sheep, and goat cheese so fresh and delicious you wish you could find them in a store. This tiny hut of the road is a must stop when you see the sign. Wow! The cheeses are soooooo good. Buy several.

I regularly walk my dog at Ragle. The part of the park that fronts Ragle Road is "urban", with tennis courts, volleyball pits, play structures, soccer fields, and ballparks. The back of the park is fast becoming a wildlife refuge. Don't get me wrong, you can walk a dog on a leash, but in an area separated from the city boundary of Sebastopol. It's very good birding spot, jogging trail, and dog walk all in one. Sebastopol is very lucky.

We had a great day at The Barlow. I love a space where we can park, walk around, have lunch, take some photos, so a little shopping, have a beer, and generally make a day of it. It was pricey and full of hipsters, but otherwise charming and fun.
