Kaysersberg in general is an absolute must! This town is so quaint and beautiful. We felt as though we were transported back in time and on set of the "Beauty and the Beast" story. You can take the stairs to the top of the Chateau or you can walk on a path that winds through a vineyard. Both get you to the top, but one is a bit more scenic. So much to see!

This was a surprise we did not expect. A very nice church, with a humble entrance (nice stone carvings) and many interesting statues inside. Like the gigantic Christ figure that's hanging in the middle, the beautiful depiction of the way of the cross above the altar, and the many other old statues, like the Saint (Fridolin?) with the little figure with a skull for a head.

As well as being a very attractive little bridge, it is a simple fact that wherever you stand on or near Pont Fortifie, there is a fabulous photograph to be taken. Kaysersberg is a beautiful village, and the area by the bridge is definitely one of the most beautiful spots for photography opportunities.
