Its location just 60 miles from the southern rim of the Grand Canyon makes Williams a popular stop for visitors to the natural beauty of Arizona. The historic Grand Canyon Railway makes it southern stop here, ferrying hundreds of thousands of tourists every year to and from the Canyon on its hundred-year-old steam-powered line. In the more immediate surrounds, the Kaibab National Forest and the Bill Williams Mountain area provide ample opportunities for camping, hiking and adventure.

I give personal private tours of the Grand Canyon from Williams, Arizona. I only do small groups and it's a full day. I've been doing these tours for over 20 years and have lived here all my life. No one knows more of this fantastic place than me, so give me a try!

Since 1901, the Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel has been taking passengers on a fabled journey to the heart of one of the seven wonders of the world. Grand Canyon Railway is more than just a mode of transportation: it’s a trip back in time on lovingly restored rail cars with entertaining musicians and the antics of cowboy characters. Out your window, the terrain changes from high desert to prairie, prairie to pine. It’s a view that’s ever-changing until you come across a view so brilliant, it could very well change you. All aboard to the Grand Canyon to make a grand trip grander!

This train station, built in 1908, is the boarding point of the Grand Canyon Railway.
Love the station with its historical vibe, the decor, gift shop selection, and the activities for the little ones. Also enjoyed the warm tents for waiting on the train. Looking forward to our next train adventure!

Good wines, with a great atmosphere. Tasting room manager Jessica was fun to talk with and, being a level 4 sommelier, is very knowledgeable about wine. You can pick which ever wines you want to try, so there is no automatically set tasting menu, which we appreciated.
