We saw this winery advertised in City Pages, we think, and decided to make the short trip from Mpls. This place is larger than most wineries and is only 3 years old, so everything has a fresh feel. We gave it a 5 star rating because of the friendly staff and good food/wine. We each sampled 5 different wines and enjoyed each one; we also ordered the cheese plate and shared the Bianco pizza. The food was spectacular and the wine was delicious. They have a really nice outdoor space that is mere steps from the grape vines - you cannot walk through the vineyard. The indoor seating is nice as well and there are a few couch areas where you can relax as you drink and eat. Overall we really enjoyed this place and would come back.

Visited the Swinging Bridge with the family (kids are 7 & 10). Glen Park above has lots to do- a couple of playgrounds, picnic tables, a splash pad (was open), and a pool (looked closed for COVID). The bridge had a great view of the river below. We took a dirt path basically straight down from the bridge to the river below right next to the 1st falls. The climb was steep. There is also a paved path that leads down to the 2nd falls. From there you can walk along the river to the other waterfall. When we went I think there was some extra water. They had gotten 9 inches earlier in the week, so a couple of places we took our shoes off to cross. Normally you might not have to. This was the first time we had been there. Recommend wearing water shoes and a swim suit as you can walk along (in) the river and swim in the water by the falls under the bridge. The area is really pretty! Recommend a stop to see!

Great hiking and beach on the St. Croix River! Cross Country ski trails in the winter too. There are several areas to park for trail access. Get outside!
