Started ten years ago with premium wine tours also we started to make simple “asados” for our special customers, develop as a gastronomic experience. We share the same passion for travel and a desire to make it the best local experience for travellers. We want to showcase the finest Argentinian cuisine, wines and its rich history and culture in a fun and entertaining way.

In 1999, the idea of a joint venture was born between Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) and the Catena family. The enthusiasm around this idea turned into a project: to create a unique wine combining two cultures (French and Argentine) and two grape varieties (Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon). The Catena family relied on the knowledge of high-altitude terroirs in Mendoza and on the passion for Malbec to find the best vineyards. Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) provided the century-old management of Cabernet Sauvignon and the art of making great wines through the blending of different grape varieties. Bodegas CARO, located at the heart of Mendoza, boasts a restored cellar dating from end of 1800s. It is the core of the project, housing the wines from vintage 2003. From the outset, the project has been aimed at selecting the best terroirs in order to produce the most elegant wines in Argentina.
