Yonah Mountain Vineyards is one of the premier North Georgia winery destination. We have just completed our new tasting room that overlooks our vineyards. This unique octagon structure has breathtaking views of the vineyards and Yonah Mountain itself. Stay tuned as later this year we will open a 10,000 square foot event facility, one of the biggest in North Georgia!
We love this place. The views can't be beat. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the mountains and the vines. Delicious wines (served in good glassware, which is a big plus). There is plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside. It is a great place to stay for a while, enjoy the relaxing ambiance and split a bottle after a tasting - even better when there's live music. The service is courteous and professional and the friendly owners are often there checking on the guests.

I’ve used several Kayak companies this year and Wildwood is by far the best. I’ve used them 4 times overall. It’s nice they are a little under an hour and a half from the city. The value you get is great. They have excellent kayaks and their shuttle service runs fast and frequent. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. You never have to wait that long. The run itself is challenging, my only suggestion for improvement is to give everyone some kayaking tips before they hit the water. 1) When you go through a rapid keep paddling, don’t stop! The speed can prevent you getting stuck and tipping 2) Be prepared to fall have everything secured. If you see a rapid coming up chug your drink and store it. 3) If you go over get your legs up and get in a water slide position. Do not try to stand up in a rapid you will get hurt. Wait until you float to calmer water. 4) If you go over yell. That way your party members can assist and retrieve anything that fell off your boat. Someone always tips when we go and sometimes everyone tips. These are some decent rapids. But if you are prepared to fall off you will be fine. Overall you are going to have a blast at wildwood if you are up for a bit of an adventure. This is not a lazy river!

Cottage Vineyard and Winery has a small, quaint tasting room with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner, Joe, is very personable and very proud of what he has established. The views are absolutely amazing, the wines were very nice and we had an enjoyable time at Cottage!

We’ve been visiting this place for years on Saturdays as we live an hour away. It’s worth the drive and run by the most lovely people. The wine selection is excellent the live music is always good and the patio is dog friendly- a huge plus for us. Highly recommend a visit!

CeNita is a family owned and operated winery nestled in the rolling foothills of the Appalachia. Our tasting room features award winning wines made from grapes we grow right on our Estate. Come join us for a glass, a bottle, or a wine slushie and enjoy some lawn games on the beautiful outdoor space overlooking the vines. We are child and pet friendly! For the best experience, a reservation is recommended for groups over 5. We can't wait to see you soon!
Stayed this October with children and grandchild. It was fantastic. With the Covid pandemic we needed a safe and peaceful place for a couple days. Our grandson (6) was in the hot tum multiple times a day. I wish the wine tasting room was open, on the inside, for tasting. It was still good standing in the yard and tasting wine. The owner was especially nice explaining the business and letting me in the bottling area to watch them hand bottle the wine. Buddy the dog was friendly with our old beagle. I used one of the bicycles to rid around the area. Our grandson and I walked through the vineyards and picked leftover grapes (with permission beforehand). He really got a kick out of tasting the "wine grapes". It was a wonderful stay.
