Syvota (Greek: Σύβοτα, pronounced [ˈsivota], before 1940: Μούρτος Mourtos pronounced [ˈmurtos]) is a village and a former municipality in Thesprotia, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Igoumenitsa, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 72.439 km. The population in 2011 was 875 for the village, and 2,640 for the municipal unit. The seat of the municipality was in Plataria.

Soon afterwards, we arrive at the picturesque Blue Lagoon bay, where historians say the Arabian pirates moored their ships in the Middle Ages. We drop anchor close to the beach, and you will have the opportunity to swim in the lagoon’s exotic blue waters. The tour obviously provides magnificent views over Northern East coastline of Greece’s mainland and the Ionian Sea.

We were 4 but the guide only had two on her paper so first they drive off and later they came back and realiser it was us they were waiting for. Everything else was super.

It was amazing day just for 25 euros per person. Captain Spyros took us from Agios Gordios and drived us to Gouvia by his car telling nice stories about villages we passed. The boat was big and nice and Spyros was the best part of it. He was joking, singins, dancing, talking to everyone and making food. The food was very tasty, and free coffe, biscuits and free wine all the day. The three places we stopped were very nice especially this wild beahh near the lake.
