Enschede (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɛnsxəˌdeː] ( listen)), also known as Eanske [ˈɛːnskə] in the local dialect of Twents, is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands in the province of Overijssel and in the Twente region.
