My Wife and I and friends had coffee in the Golf Clubhouse of Trumps International Hotel and Golf resort and it was really nice. The coffee and home made cookies were extremely nice and tasty. We were served by Jack, who was not only nice and friendly but highly efficient too. It was an extremely nice and memorable visit and thank you to Jack, Raf and Mr. Joe Russell (GM) and we look forward to a return visit sooner than later. It was - also - lovely to see all the guests greeting other guests in a positive way.

Stayed two nights in early April. Friendly staff, good location and lovely breakfast. Car parking on site was also handy.Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lahinch for a break, on vacation or heading there to surf or golf. Gym and leisure facilities look good but did not have time to use them.

This was our second visit to the Armada Hotel, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As soon as we registered, we had a wonderful greeting and as we got to our beautiful room we were greeted by a welcoming card, chocolates and Baileys Irish Cream. We would like to express our thanks to Ann and the other ladies on our floor for looking after our requests. They were always present with a smile and a "can we help you". The hotel features, including the bar and restaurants were first class. The view from the breakfast room was superb, and there,. every morning we were greeted and looked after by Patrick who really made us smile. This is a wonderful hotel with first class features, wonderful food and gorgeous views. We thoroughly recommend it, for all occasions SALLY and Wayne

Celebrating 40 years of welcoming guests as friends, the Ardagh is now in the third generation of the Bauvet/Berings family. Old fashioned rest, relaxation & the best food Connemara has to offer. One of the last small, family run hotels in Ireland. What was originally a quaint fishing lodge is now the 20 bedrooms of a four star establishment. The Ardagh has been lovingly restored into an unfussy, intimate hotel with individually styled guest rooms. Set on 6 acres of food and wild floral gardens offering both views of Connemara’s land and seascapes.
Absolutely superb from the moment we arrived until we left. This was our second stay, having had a wonderful time previously, it is a place that we were very excited to return to. The hotel is beautifully located with very comfortable rooms overlooking Clifden Bay and its magnificent sunsets. Every member of the team are so welcoming and friendly but very professional. The service was fantastic. Dining in the Ardagh is an absolute treat. There is an extensive menu of wonderful local seafood, meats and homegrown vegetables. This is high end dining at its best. Perfectly cooked and presented. The only difference between Ardagh and other fine dining establishments is that the portions are huge! We ate there for 4 nights and our only regret was not tasting everything on the menu. A well chosen and reasonably priced wine list accompanies the amazing food. Cannot wait to return next year. A true treat worth waiting for. Thank you all in the Ardagh

Ballinalacken Castle Hotel Doolin is one of the leading Castle Hotels Ireland with views of Cliffs of Moher. This Clare Hotel has an award winning restaurant and is the best place to eat in Doolin. It would be difficult to find a more beautiful place on the West Coast of Ireland in which to wake up. The Ballinalacken has been described in the press as one of the finest located houses in Europe. Our guest rooms offer spectacular panoramic views of the Aran Islands, the Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay. A 15th Century Castle ruin of the O'Brien Clan stands imposingly beside the Ballinalacken Hotel.
We were staying in the area and chose this place for diner from the excellent TA reviews … we weren’t disappointed! The dining room is decorated in period with the history of the hotel … 1930s. The table was beautifully dressed. The menu is not large but has some tasty sounding dishes, I chose beef filet. It arrived, after being freshly cooked, nicely presented on the plate and was perfectly tender. The accompanying veg were inventive and complimented the meat. The cheese board made a perfect partner and was full of tasty local cheese delights. Prices are reasonable for this fine dining experience and service was attentive throughout our meal. Thank you.
