Corpus Christi possesses all of the main ingredients of an ideal weekend getaway: the sun, the sea, the sights, plus exhilarating and engaging activities the whole family can enjoy. Spend the day on the beach soaking up the sun or wind surfing, the breezy city's favorite pastime. Visit the massive Texas State Aquarium with its new Dolphin Bay, a protected habitat for dolphins unable to survive in open water. Take a tour of The USS Lexington, one of the most famous aircraft carriers in U.S. naval history. Stroll through fabulous flora and fauna at the Botanical Gardens. At the Museum of Science and History, check out the recreated Pinta and Santa Maria, two of the ships Columbus used to sail to the new world. At night, enjoy a succulent seafood dinner at any number of fine restaurants, then head to the historic Harbor Playhouse for delightfully original community theater and a true taste of what Corpus Christi is all about.

We will always keep you in our hearts. There are some who bless us, just long enough to love them, then they're gone. The Lord needed you and you answered the call. Brave you will always be held in high esteem. We miss you and until, and as we look forward to when we all meet again in paradise, heaven, where our fathers house has many rooms.

“Loteria Corpus Christi” is a 52'x24' public artwork located in downtown near Corpus Christi’s bayfront, restaurants and hotels. Based upon Mexican Bingo, the colorful mural was painted by 50 of South Texas' premier artists and completed in 2015. “Loteria Corpus Christi” was organized by K Space Contemporary with funding provided by the City of Corpus Christi & National Endowment for the Arts.
The Loteria with a twist! My teen daughter and I enjoyed the artwork with a little twist of character humor. On our next visit to Corpus Christi, we are definitely visiting K Contemporary Art.

Fun little stop if you are a music fan! This winding walk is behind and between several restaurants and the Surfing Museum, and has stars honoring singers, songwriters and musicians of many genres. Some stars of note are Selena, which was hidden behind a gate the day we went, and Michael Nesmith, across from the Surf Museum.
