Exceptional performance of traditional culture by a group of young and talented artists. Takayama certainly is worth visiting but an evening should be spent in this theater . An energetic and harmonious drummers show accompanied by flutes and the shamisen is the base of the Ryoumen Sukuna hero legend. Fantastic experience!

Watch a modern kabuki show at Nagoya Za, a renowned kabuki café in the city. A traditional form of Japanese theater, kabuki harks from the Edo days, but this performance gives it a modern edge. Watch the actors fly about the stage and cheer them on as you enjoy a show with interactive features that'll keep you thrilled, no matter what language you speak. Upgrade when you book online to include dinner at the nearby cafe NAGONOYA.
If you want to experience traditional Japanese kabuki mixed with a modern and cool style, this is the place for you! I came here a couple of times with friends and seen two different show, Everytime they knew how to surprise us,coming on the stage swinging on a rope, epic fight battles, special effects and music are pretty good and creative. They're funny and incredible actors. Even if the show it's completely in Japanese dialect it's easy to understand the story, and, if you're a foreigner, they will be really happy to see you!they may ask some questions or make you doing something easy and funny. They like to make the show interactive for customers, and that's what i loved about this kabuki. The price is 3500yen(which is cheap for kabuki)and includes also a free drink, the show might be around 1 hour and half, plus a little show outside before the start. It's an experience that you couldn't try anywhere else! ;)
