Mundy Park

What to say? Old growth forest, small lakes, trail system with excellent drainage so that it never gets muddy, even with all the rain we have here. Dog friendly areas and trail times. Whenever I walk or jog through the park, I'm reminded that the most relaxing colour is green.

Crystal Falls

Reviewed By tamtamyyc - Calgary, Canada

Having lived in PoCo for years before I was surprised and delighted to learn that this was only minutes away from dt! The path access almost hidden in the bushes. Residential street parking. Wide easy paths. If you’re taking a stroller I would recommend going days after the last rain and it’s dense so moisture lingers in wide path covering puddles. There are bears in the area and after a rainfall you’ll easily see their footprints! Be mindful of where you are ???? I was there early in the morning (before 8) and only saw a handful of people. The falls are about 30-45mins in depending on how fast you walk. If the run off is low enough you can cross the falls river and go to the other side where the path continues and takes you to another waterfall!

Coquitlam Crunch Trail

Reviewed By TACowley - Vancouver, Canada

Very well maintained, any attire and shoes is fine. Broken into 4 sections so you can do a little or a lot. About 6,000 steps to the top and back. Mostly stairs, pavement or gravel path. Nothing steep but a good workout if you go at a good clip. Nice view from the top as well.
