Stone cherskogo also know as Chersky Stone is located just before you reach Listvyanka. The turn to Chersky Stone is on the left, but across from it you’ll see a large sign indicating a hotel. This is definitely worth checking out on your way to Listvyanka. Have your car drop you at the base of the ski lift. You can walk up and down for free, but a ticket to ride up the ski lift and walk down, or buy a ticket to ride up and down the lift. They only take rubles and it’s a small fee, so come prepared. The hike is pretty and winding. It will take no more than about 30-40 minutes for a fit person. The ski lift take about 7-10 minutes from top to bottom. The top of the mountain (whether you walked or took the lift) you’ll be able to see very nice views of Lake Baikal. There are prayer flags and a viewing platform. I absolutely recommend you stop here if you’re heading to Listvyanka!
