From its snow-capped mountains to its mighty fjords, from grand valleys to tranquil lakes and lovely archipelagos, the county of Troms is bursting with natural wonders. To cap it off, it also plays host to the northern lights. Tromso, the capital, is the gateway to the region's rugged beauty, but with 65,000 people it's also a surprisingly rich city culturally, with many interesting museums and sites (including the world's northernmost botanical garden) and even a pulsing nightlife.

The world's northernmost animal park, where you can experience the big predators of the arctic: Brown bear, lynx, wolf and wolverine. There's also moose, red deer, reindeer, musk ox and polar fox. During the summer we also have domesticated animals and birds, barbeque areas and fishing spots. There's also a cafe, kiosk and gift shop. Adapted for the disabled. Polar Park is open all year
What an unforgettable and magical experience. This is unlike anything I have ever seen. Northern lights. Wild and friendly animals. This is an absolute must if you are considering the journey! Wolves!
Sami experience in the heart of the Lyng Alps In the heart of the Lyngen alps you will find our little pearl where Sami reindeer herding is the essence. We offer an intimate and authentic experience where you get to meet and feed some of our reindeer. You will hear storys and yoik, try to throw lasso and eat reindeer meat.
