Excellent place. Best for kids. They would definitely learn to preserve mother nature. Helps understand the process of a butterfly taking birth. Must go place.

If you are looking for a day long family outing or an overnight stay and peaceful surrounding, Mahuli Farms is the place. It's situated in Awale village near Mahuli Fort, around 5-10 kms from Asangaon Railway Station. The place is a bit remote but that's what makes it totally worth it. Amazing food, veg and non-veg both options are available. There are around 3 dormitories and they also provide camping tents during winter season. There are common changing rooms and washrooms. Swimming pool which is surrounded by green forest was clean and super fun. The place is huge, spread in around 50 acres of land so expect a bit of walking. There are a lot of Mango trees, Chickoo, Papaya, Jackfruite, a lot of different kind of flowers as well. Perfect for families and friends who love peaceful and down to earth facilities. They provide buffet lunch and dinners and also breakfast. We also enjoyed Bullock Cart Ride, Archery, Air Rifle Shooting, Carrom, Chess, Badminton. They also have cricket bats, footballs and things. There are also a couple of waterfalls in close proximity (around 20-25 mins of trekking is needed), no outsiders can go there, so it's just like a private waterfall. Overall, it's a very simple and village like place. Do not expect any 5-star or resort like facilities, visit only if you want to relax in nature and want to have fun with your friends and familiy. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. They charged around 1700 for overnight stay, which was totally worth every penny. We took auto from Asangaon station, that charges around 200-250 Rs for a trip (3-4 people) there are also bigger vans available on call, they charge around 400 Rs for 10 people per trip. The road that leads to the farm is a bit rough but that's how our villages are. The founders/owners Mr and Mrs Talpade, are super loving, down to earth and warm hearted souls. My family had some great time with them as well.
