Seen from the top of Pen y Ghent and knowing that in about 6-8 hours you will be looking up at its vast bulk, takes some beating mixed emotions! Variety of terrain on the approach in, followed by a relatively short scramble up. Take your time and watch where you put your feet! Your respect for the mountain will be rewarded.

Simply stunning. A beautiful old bridge that begs to be photographed and a short walk to the falls. It had been raining so the galls were wonderful to view.

Conveniently starting just off Settle centre, at Constitution Hill, this hiking trail is easy to moderate uphill walk with amazing views of Settle from the top as it meanders through farmland and awesome exposed limestone hills. 2 to 3 hours at a comfortable pace with caves to thrill the kids and shaggy sheep all over.
