Beauchamp Falls

I camped at the Beauchamp Falls free camp ground for two nights last weekend (Australia Day). The camp site itself is great, and can accommodate more than the 12 advertised camp sites. It's dog friendly too and lots of people had their dogs with them the whole weekend. The waterfall itself is a 1.5 hour walk from the campsite/car park, winding through gorgeous misty, dense rainforest, along the trickling creek, mossy trees with interesting fungi growing. Once at the waterfall, there is a metal staircase to a viewing platform at the top, or a muddy slippery, stony track to the bottom. The waterfall cascades down a single rock face so it is very dramatic. Photos at the bottom really capture the full scale of it and the lush surroundings. We spent ages here getting some long exposure shots. It was quieter than many other waterfalls nearby like Triplet falls which was heaving with tourists. It's a bit steep to climb back as the last 15 minutes are uphill. But overall a very worthwhile hike - even despite the hair pin windy road to get there!

This place is beautiful! I only wish we could have spent more time here running around with the kids and admiring the big trees. A beautiful part of Australia

Truely an amzaing waterfall which is well worth a visit. The short hike down from the carpark, wich can be a little muddy, delivers a truely beautiful waterfall..

Triplet Falls

It is an amazing rain forest walk from the car park. Took us about 1 hour in return. There's a platform where you can see the falls but if you are the adventurous type, you can climb down to the bottom of the falls. It was an amazing view from the bottom. Green ferny trees rocks covered in moss and fallen trees surrounds this water fall and the river. This is a must if you are in the region.

Little Aire Falls

We were tricked by the Parks Victoria pamphlet which says this walk is 2.3km return - it’s not, it’s 2.3km each way! However it was totally worth it, and now one of my favourite waterfalls in the Otways. The walk is easy (though muddy) and the Lookout is perched on top of a cliff looking straight into the falls making it quite unique.
