This beautiful art gallery is in the center of town and co-owned by one of the founders of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The photography collection is excellent as are all the art by local artists. We did end up buying an expensive painting.

Made the reservation online and it worked perfectly. You can use your phone to scan barcodes for exterior and interior rooms (the upstairs is closed). They are clearly being careful due to COVID-19, which we appreciated. The volunteer who let us in was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. It is such an interesting bit of history with photos and period furnishings. Highly recommended!

Little Hollywood Movie Museum

The free Little Hollywood Movie Museum , a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt non profit, exhibits a collection of actual movie sets as the centerpiece of its exploration of how the sleepy little town of Kanab became the back lot for movies like The Outlaw Josey Wales, Planet Of The Apes & Stagecoach and a haunt for Hollywood stars like Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, Charleton Heston, Clint Eastwood and more recently, Kiefer Sutherland and Willem Dafoe. Both on the big screen and on TV in such classics as The Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke and Lassie, Southern Utah defines the way we see the American West. The Museum is set behind Trading Post of the West, a gift shop focused on Made in the USA merchandise including fair trade Native American Arts and Jewelry, Stetson Hats and Abilene boots. From fine gifts to fun souvenirs Trading Post of the West offers a great selection at fair prices. There are big clean restrooms, snacks, drinks and a picnic area. Kid and pet friendly. Whether you have 15 minutes or over an hour, it's a fun place to stop.

Moqui Cave

An Ancient history museum inside a natural sandstone Cave. Come check out our dinosaur tracks, fossils, artifacts and much much more!

Such an interesting place, once a bar and dance hall to now housing geological specimens that I wish I could have one of each! Such a great gift shop with rocks and gemstones presented in a neat fashion including showing them off under black lights. There is even dinosaur poop on display! Don't miss the old bar in the back and notice the fascinating cave that shows the multiple layers of rock in the area. I could spend hours at Moqui Cave.
