The Road to Recovery Tour was outstanding. Our guide Nikki, was a local with a deep knowledge of the island and its geology, ecology, biology and geography. She was enthusiastic, kind, thoughtful and a perfect guide to the wonders of the island and the way it is recovering from the catastrophic bushfires . We had a wonderful day. Highly recommended.

I can’t believe we did so much in two days. Guide Nikki is passionate about all nature and knowledgeable about the island’s history and inhabitants. The company has their own property which has so much wildlife. It was amazing to see Kangaroo Island regenerating so quickly. Over 2 days we saw at least 35 koalas and lots of other species all in their natural habitats. Bush picnic food each day was great also. I added an extra 2 days to my tour. Such a professional, helpful and personalised service. Linda54

We used sealink to get from kangaroo Island to Adelaide and the service was generally good. Check in was easy in KI however clerk was not that helpful as I was unsure about luggage. Next time I will know! There is a luggage van - self serve - which actually comes off the ferry when it arrives. Easy once you know. Actual crossing was pretty rough so suggest sit in seats near rear of boat and very convenient to bathrooms! Our link from ferry to bus at Cape Jervois was easy - remember you have to collect your bag and put it on to bus yourself. There is a food outlet on the ferry but we only found this out near the end of our trip and it had just closed - arghh. (They don’t tell you!). A little more organisation and this would have been a wonderful experience.
