Reviewed By LikkleFirst room I was assigned had a carpet so gross that I didn't want to step on it. Next room I was assigned had a flooded bathroom floor & broken security lock. Final room I was assigned looked fine, but it turned out the heater was broken. And there was no wifi (it was out all night for the entire hotel). I had car trouble, so I asked the desk clerk what restaurants were in walking distance. He said only the one across the parking lot. It may serve good Mexican food, but after waiting 40 minutes for the menu I requested when I arrived, I left. This place could be nice (and probably once was), but it badly needs maintenance. On the upside, the front desk staff was friendly, the bedding & towels were clean, & the complimentary breakfast was adequate.

Reviewed By DianeP327We just returned from a stay at the hotel Castel. It was a remarkably clean, well run motel. Lots of young families and seniors as well. The indoor pool was a big hit with the grandkids. It was an excellent price!

No bad smells as that's one of the first things I check. Clean sheets & nice bed & pillows. Help at front desk was very nice & polite. Checking was fast. Ckean bathroom & shower/bath. I'll be back!!

Worst hotel ever!
Reviewed By anniedZ9418GBFirst night, ants in the bed. Next morning switched to another room & got upgraded to room w/mini fridge. Left luggage & left for the day. Returned around 11pm and room reeked of cigarettes & mini fridge didn't work so everything lost. Moved to another standard room & toilet didn't flush. Complained next morning & assured it would be taken care of. Returned at 10pm & NEVER addressed & went to office they gave us a plunger & said talk to management in the morning. Saturday night last night thank God and DO NOT STAY in this hotel.

Not very clean, would not stay again
Reviewed By icozzaniThere was one hair on the bedsheet, either from the cleaning crew or from the previous guest. I hope it was not from the previous guest who slept in that bed and then the bed sheet were not changed. There was one other hair on the towel rack. There were only two towels from 4 people. There are not enough hooks to hang the towels. Towels are rolled and put inside some holes with a yellow cover, the holes are not cleaned, there was a lot of dust inside. The toilet did not have a cover. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were like breadcrumbs on the bed so i am thinking the bed sheets really were not changed from the previous guest and this is a bit disgusting. I understand there is no breakfast available during Covid but at least they could have provided some coffee/tea in the lobby. I booked a non smoking room but it smelled of sigarette.
