this hotel is just a scam they will tell you they are placing a hold on your card for $100 for incidentals. what they actually do is take the money out of your account and they will hold it for 5-7 business days before returning it back to your account. I can understand leaving a credit card on file for incidentals but actually charging card is a different story. They are earning interest on this money just not right they say it's their policy i have had money held before but it was released right away as soon as I checked out not taken out and held for 5-7 business days.

In desperate need of update or bulldozer. Dirty shower with lots of long black hair, towels you can see through, paper thin walls, outside door not secured, very rough condition rooms, blocked bath sink, breakfast had cold coffee and 8 stale donuts. There are better options so avoid this place.

I was moving from California to Colorado with my 2 kids. I booked this hotel for the rate but would have still liked to know I can get some kind of clean and hospitable experience. The hotel was in a convenient location, making getting on and off the highway easy. However, the hotel staff were not welcoming, the lobby had a strong odor and the room itself was so dirty I was afraid to walk without shoes. If you're looking for a clean place to stay, skip this one.

Everything about this place is horrible. From the smell in the lobby, to the nasty linens in the bed. STAY AWAY This was an emergency stop along my route for me. I would tell anyone who asks me, I would rather sleep in my vehicle than this place.

Motel 6 Gallup NM is conveniently located off of I-40 at US 66 exit 16, at the entrance of the Navajo Nation and spectacular Monument Valley. Features include a seasonal outdoor pool, guest laundry, and free Wi-Fi available in all guest rooms.
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the room and bedding appeared clean. We reserved a king deluxe through Booking.com and were given a queen. The front desk clerk blamed the mix up on Booking.com while Booking.com blamed the motel staff. A 30 minute phone call did nothing to fix the snafu. The bathroom electrical outlets didn't work and the front desk clerk said she would send maintenance but no one ever showed up to make repairs. Bedside lamp didn't work. Bed was hard as a rock and provided pillows were flat pancakes. Toilet seat itself was loose and then the toilet developed a water leak somewhere near the floor. They allow pets which is fine except our room was next door to a room with a chihuahua and he NEVER stopped barking. No hair dryer, no in room coffee, terrible tv reception, and nothing but a teeny bar of soap in the bathroom. AND they charged $70 for the privilege of spending the night in this mess. All in all, this motel is a disaster.

Most disgusting place I have stayed. Filthy, smelly, thermostats didn't work. Smelled really bad. Slept in clothes and shoes due to stained sheets. Left after 3 hrs cause bed like a rock, loud train, mold around door and couldn't breathe. This place should be condemmed.
