Got to watch tv in hotel lobby due to glitches with room’s tv

(This Is Us) As luck would have it, NBC was the only channel that our room’s tv had not been able to tune in to due to some technical or weather glitch. We ended up asking the front desk clerk if he wouldn’t mind if my husband and I could watch tv from the front office lounge area. He obliged our unusual request and we were able to watch the last episode in real time. Thank you Days Inn for accommodating us in our request. The room and amenities were good and the breakfast offerings the next morning were decent.

Reviewed By nathan526It had everything I needed for a quick one-night stop. Room was clean and staff was pleasant. The room I chose was a single queen mattress. It was comfortable and I had a pleasant sleep. I strongly suggest patronizing small businesses such as this one over large chains.

I thought I was on Econos web site but was led to res.com and paid an additional $20 for this poor room… no breakfast due to covid but site said otherwise… road noise was really LOUD… just an all around run down property at top $$$ with a great front desk clerk…. Sorry I won’t EVER stay here again!

Dirty marks all over the walls as well as a hole in the wall near the bed. A pullman bed in my room. Found a tissue in my bed sheets. No screen on window. TV remote did not work. Dirty carpet. Exterior door swipe to get into was dangling and smashed, cigarettes and trash outside back door and into stairwell area. Windows all wide open with no screens in stairwell. Good security! Go somewhere else!

Reviewed By misob204Booked a room via Booking.com same day and was charged the full amount. Got to the hotel and had to search the property for someone to check in. While checking in, the man said he needed the credit card to book. I told him I had paid on-line and he said that Booking.com doesn't charge. The room had loose & broken tiles in the bathroom, water stains on the ceiling. It was Labor Day weekend & the only open room within 50 miles. Received my credit card statement and was charged twice - once by Booking.com & by the hotel. Disputing the double charge. Willing to pay once even though this place is a dive, but not double. There was no one to around to check out - a box on the side of the lobby. Couldn't get ice or drinks because the room was locked and never found anyone to open. We should have camped. It would have been cleaner.
