Over 15 million gallons of water bubble daily into Budapest's 118 springs and boreholes. The city of spas offers an astounding array of baths, from the sparkling Gellert Baths to the vast 1913 neo-baroque Szechenyi Spa to Rudas Spa, a dramatic 16th-century Turkish pool with original Ottoman architecture. The "Queen of the Danube" is also steeped in history, culture and natural beauty. Get your camera ready for the Roman ruins of the Aquincum Museum, Heroes' Square and Statue Park, and the 300-foot dome of St. Stephen's Basilica.

A lovely bus ride with winding curves takes you up from Budapest old train station, it takes you to the foot of the chairlift. When reaching the top lift station there is a cafeteria with food and drinks available and nice views over the city. If you want the best views ever, It is a fairly steep long climb to the tower but take it easy, you'll get there! When you get to the tower climb up right to the top for breathtaking views! All worth it! Maybe while waiting for your bus to take you on this lovely and price wise cheap excursion, visit the worlds most beautiful Mc Donald's next to the station on a square, in a great historic building.

Visited Margit-sziget Water Tower whilst on Margaret Island. Great place to take photos. AVOID Elektromosauto kolcsonzes hire desk the bloke there today (20/03/19) was a conman. The total hire charge came to 12,400 fln, I handed him 15,000 he offered me no change, when questioned he gave me 300fln. Hang on I gave you 15,000 this should be 3000 not 300. Reluctantly he gave me the 3000. He was praying for the ignorance of the currency. It didn't work
