Although it's only a 30-minute ferry crossing away from mainland Chile across the Chacao Channel, verdant Isla Chiloe – the largest in the Chiloe archipelago – is another world. Sixteen wooden churches clustered around Castro on the island's east coast have UNESCO World Heritage status, and traditional palafitos (houses on stilts) dot its shores. To the west, Chiloe National Park shelters foxes, sea lions and otters and provides unspoiled terrain for horseback riding, sea kayaking and fishing.

At Chiloétnico we seek to offer a cultural experience in a fun and challenging way by the design and operation of active cultural tourism and cycling trips along Chile since 2007. We're not looking for massive noisy tourism instead our bet is for small groups with local guides & local suppliers from rural/indigenous communities, in order to create travel experiences that give real knowledge about Chile. The vineyards in the central valley, Lake District, Chiloé Island, Carretera Austral & Chilean Patagonia are some of the destinations that you may visit with us, guided for a committed team in order to give you the best quality experience in a sustainable way
