Every day we organize a half-day tour to visit the most important, active and interesting areas of Etna. We start from your hotel or from our meeting point with our 4x4 vehicle, authorized, heading north-east, after a couple of km we will stop inside the national park accessible with an authorized guide since there are about 45 craters. After a walk of about 40 minutes we will visit 5 craters, one of which is still open and we can observe the real size of a crater. In this area we will observe all types of lava, minerals, volcanic desert and pioneer plants of our volcano. After the visit of the craters at high altitude with our jeep we will do 2 km in off road to discover the last eruption on the north side, and finally on the east side we will visit with helmets and lamps provided by us of small craters inside, a chamber of expansion and a fracture of 26 km that divides Etna into two parts. The visit will be carried out in areas of volcanological and scientific interest.
