Reviewed By SLG752There are so many wonderful reasons to stay at Hotel Engel and their sister property, Hotel Amadeus. The hotel is located conveniently in the middle of Zofingen with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops right outside its doors. It is also an easy walk to the train station and grocery stores. The rooms are super clean, well appointed, the shower is amazing, the beds are comfy and the breakfast is plentiful. Most important is the wonderful service provided by the hotel manager and staff

There are 39 contemporary hotel rooms, a stylish ambience for congresses and seminars up to 140 people and three restaurants with two terraces for culinary well-being. Our Catering and home delivery section have a team of experienced staff.
Good to sleep, but if you can avoid to pay for breakfast, do it.
Reviewed By voyageuur1860The hotel is, according to swiss tradition really clean. The beds are correct for 1 person and they are comfort. However the restaurant and the breakfast are really poor and expensive. When I woke up and went to take breakfast it was only one "croissant" , no bred, a couple of poor cheese slices with some yogurt. But my hopes grew up when I saw a girl coming back with a bag from probably the local backery. However when I went to look what she put, I only saw 1 poor croissant and 2 Littles breads . Staff were sympatic but don't go there for restaurant or breakfast. To be fair I have to day this review has been made under the pandemic situation of coronavirus. Maybe will it be better after and maybe was it better before.

Wonderful Hotel
Reviewed By Dco755I stayed here for a business trip and was really impressed. My room was fabulous and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious also. It is only a short 5 to 10 minute walk into Zofingen city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Ursi1976Very nice place with great helpful staff. Amazingly close to train station. Would recommend for bussiness visit. Quite place with all what you need, clean and tidy. In vicinity of the hotel you will find everything what you need (pubs, restaurants, etc.)

Reviewed By M7967FVjuliahDas Hotel hat saubere und moderne Zimmer und ein gutes einfaches Frühstück. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Um zu Fuss auf den Heiteren zu gehen benötigten wir 25', was gut machbar war. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
