Reviewed By Geraldine OReally lovely welcome and people running this hotel. The lady and owner is extremely helpful and generous. It is lovely to see. The hotel is perfectly nestled between Carcassonne and Trebes - being only 5-7 minutes drive between each. The hotel boasts a superb pool which is a real bonus. The rooms are small, functional but adequate. Laundry staff lovely - again very helpful and friendly. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

A stone built village house about 100 meters from the church and next to the river Aude. It's a very private family house with no overlook from other houses.Three levels: groud floor with dinner room, first floor with bedroom and bathroom, and 2nd floor with a 80m² independant suite for 3 guests fully equiped, indoor veranda and terrace with an impressive voew of the river Aude.

Reviewed By RogerP286The reviews were correct, this is a unique quirky house with one of the most friendly and welcoming hostesses we have ever had the pleasure to encounter in many years of travelling in France. No descriptions are likely to adequately convey the ambience of this home. The history and Pierette's attachment to the building are the background to what she has worked into an extraordinary home. If it's available, ask for the 2nd floor suite. You will be surprised and delighted, but book well ahead. People know about this place. Don't be concerned by the apparent back street appearance and lack of parking on Street View. It's not at all what it seems at first sight. Breakfast is another experience, but others have written about that. A wonderful location, you can only appreciate it by staying there.

Helpful staff but a bit far
Reviewed By Elle MWe had a problem with our trains and ended up arriving in Carcassonne later than planned and rang up, although spoke little english helpful gave us all our codes and had our room unlocked for us as the reception was out of hours. Taxi was expensive as we only use the public transport really, so found it a bit of a problem with the distance. Room was clean but very small for two people sharing. Breakfast was limited in choice and slightly expensive but filled the gap! Staff were pleasant but a little bit expensive for it being out of the way, unless you drive its not too bad. But must admit best night sleep in awhile comfy bed. They also have a very cute little dog!

L’accueil est courtois mais nous l’avons trouvé au mînimum syndical Certes nous sommes arrivés tard vers 19h00 après une longue journée de vélo sous un soleil de plomb, mais après fait 800kms et plus de 12 chambres d’hôte, nous avons trouvé André , certes poli mais rigide. Nos vélos ont été mis en sécurité pour la nuit comme demande Les chambres sont propres et mignonnes mais sous cette chaleur (32 degré à 19h00) elles mériteraient une Clim ou un ventilo. Le PDJ est basic, fruits, pain et croissant , c’est le seul endroit où personne ne nous a demandé si nous voulions plus de café 92€ par chambre avec PDJ ,(fin à 9h) nous restons mi figue mi raisin sur la prestation Cet endroit convient plus à des retraités, « calme » qu’une bande d’amis en vacances .

Reviewed By tinoucarlaDéçus,....accueil super, personnel sympathique et dévoué cependant l'état des chambres laisse a désirer. Salle de bain inondée des la 1ere douche, ensemble tres vétuste. La télécommande de la climatisation n'est pas laissé au client la nuit..... Petit dejeuner bof, café ( filtre !) Facturé 3.80 euros!
