wow Sheraton, did you guys forget the meaning of customer service? Despite having spent just shy of $800 for 2 nights, the customer service was shockingly bad, no late check out allowed, no phone chargers at the front desk (needed because USB ports in room not working, no breakfast, no restaurant (how long is Covid going to be used as an excuse for not providing amenities??), front desk just full of excuses why they can't offer assistance (on my own, just about to be a shift change) Really, really bad, will spend a fraction of what it has just cost me to stay here, to stay somewhere else in Towson next time I visit my daughter at college

Booked for a surprise Mother's Day visit and was mostly pleased with this place for my short-term stay. Front desk staff were great (Ms. Tangi, Daisy, Alexis). Beau, the maintenance manager on duty was very helpful when I had issues with the AC and an iron I couldn't get to work due to an inadequate receptacle. Called front desk on 2nd day of stay to confirm breakfast hours and was given wrong time. I ended up going down late, but the breakfast room was still open and I needed some food for my 88-year old mother. Well, no accommodation from the kitchen staff (language barrier I guess) and I was frustrated - kitchen was empty and I only needed a couple of bagels or pastries so my mother could eat! Fortunately, Daisy, front desk clerk came to the rescue and was able to retrieve food items from the kitchen for us - she was very helpful and deserved a tip for her great customer service - - a bright spot during my stay! Ownership/management needs to invest in some updates to hi-def TV, appliances, and AC units, and better cleaning standards considering the room prices. Bathroom shower curtains needed replacement and I did my own cleaning as I always do when I stay in a hotel. The queen-size beds are comfortable, but very high off floor and tricky to get in and out of. I had my own sheets but the hotel sheets seemed old and could have been cleaner too. Initial stay was from Wed - Sun, 2-queen bed suite with sofa bed for $699.00. I then wanted to extend my stay from Sun-Wed and went downstairs on Saturday night to talk to Alexis, the night front desk person. She went above and beyond to help me with this. She tried to arrange that I could extend, not have to come down to check-out because initial booking had been paid, and stay in my same room without having to move. She even called Alexander (hotel supervisor I guess) while I waited. I thought everything was good. Well, next morning (Sunday), I called front desk to confirm all that Alexis had done and was told by Alexander that I did have to come down to check-out, and bottom line he undid all that Alexis had done, and I had to move to a smaller room. I found his attitude a bit unkind and not customer-friendly. He might want to check that considering that travelers have other options and his lack of consideration and willingness to negotiate could cause them to move on to someplace else. I took the new booking but after feeling some kind of way about his curt treatment towards me, I decided to shut it down and leave early on Monday evening. I was then charged the price for Monday night because I checked out after 3 pm (asked for a break but no luck). Again, here was an opportunity for a guest accommodation but none was offered, so I ended up paying another $263 for approx. 36 hours on top of initial $699 for my initial booking. This is not a 5-star hotel and some customer accommodation could go a long way! I probably won't stay at this hotel again, but if you are traveling to Towson and need a place to stay short-term, this hotel might work for you.

This hotel is located in a business and suburban district, 12 miles from downtown Baltimore and three miles from Towson Town Center shopping mall. The hotel has a fitness room, a seasonal outdoor pool, and guest laundry facilities. Parking is free.
Room was very clean. Room had tv, microwave, frig, coffee maker and wifi. Perfectly adequate for one night or two, but no rack for suitcase, so I just put it on the floor., There was no hair blower. (They tell me the hair blowers get stolen) There were no towel racks in the bathroom which I thought was unusual. The towels were folded on a shelf below the sink. There was a hook behind the bathroom door though. All in all it was a fine stay. AND I would go back there. Breakfast was great! Loved making waffles!

I stayed here for 3 days...clean but dated. TV cable worked fine. Refrigerator good and microwave worked. Bathroom clean with towels.Holes around plumbing, but no mold or smells. Heat worked fine. Bed firm sheets clean. Price at 62 was much better than Sheraton at 187. Very close to mall, easy access to restaurants. The people at desk very nice and helpful. Wifi available. I would stay here again.
