The Beachcomber Hotel & Resort, or as the locals call it ‘The Beachie’ is an iconic waterfront destination located in the heart of the Central Coast, Toukley. ‘Eat, Drink, Play + Stay’– with sweeping waterfront views, Hamptons-inspired ambience, boutique-style accommodation, exclusive pool-club, multiple eateries and bars, it’s the perfect place to gear into holiday mode, even if it’s just for an afternoon.
Disgusting security staff, iv been here now a total of 3 times with friends and family, each time iv been to the bathrooms the security like to have a peek through the gaps in your toilet cubicle wile your doing a number two, on one occasion my nephew even told me he seen the security looking through the gaps and he is a minor, one this is illegal to even try and see what is happening in a private situation, very lucky that the police weren’t called, and all the duty manager had to say was they had suspicions that illegal activity were happening, what from a 10 year old how stupid, also making accusations that our party were doing illegal substances which this may happen in that venue but to accuse people that have never touched that stuff is another matter in its self plus it still doesn’t give you the right to look through toilet cubicles, if they think that stuff is happening then they need to call the police first. we were there for a family birthday on each occasion. Also the security and manager were accusing our designated drivers they were drunk and had to leave when they were only drinking coke, the place is a joke, the security are toilet pervs, so beware!! Next time the police will be called and who ever invoked will be charge

Canton Beach Holiday Park is the perfect place for your next relaxing holiday. Just a few streets from Main Road, Toukley, Canton Beach offers its visitors a vast array of flora and fauna native to the Central Coast. Go trekking through the national parkland that surrounds the holiday park and marvel at the stunning lake system. Situated directly on the foreshore of the tranquil Tuggerah Lakes, an interconnecting system of three lakes covering 80 square kilometers with one outlet to the ocean. Canton Beach is the place to go when you just want to get it away from it all, but still only a few streets from the heart of town giving visitors easy access to the numerous shops, cafes and restaurants in the coastal township. Located a short drive from the renowned Soldiers Beach and minutes from the rock pool at Norah Head, it has something for everyone. A courtesy bus operates between the park and licensed clubs in the area, and further attractions can be found at The Entrance, a short ten minute drive away. Canton Beach has a range of accommodation options. There are caravan and camping sites available all year round, which include your choice of either powered or unpowered. There are also six types of cabins to choose from, ranging from the classic Jabiru to the large, spacious Kingfisher. Come along with your family and friends for a getaway you won't soon forget.
The staff welcome on arrival was extraordinarily good! I was blown away! from then it went downhill - only one in three BBQ worked, when I asked for an additional toilet key to the one we were given on arrival for three adults and two children, I was made to feel like a naughty student! This key was in fact 'not fit for purpose as it failed to open the toilets on one occasion, it took ages poking and pushing while my visit was getting more and more urgent especially as I had been diverted from a different block as it was being cleaned! The notes on the door indicate that the blocks are cleaned one in five days, I think this was a bit of too long interval. The site had a few permanent vans, unoccupied, and urgent need of some tlc. Overall, it looked tired and in need of some work.

Under New Management. Currently improving and upgrading facilities. Fresh clean comfortable rooms. Competitive rates. Friendly helpful staff, Willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
This is advertised as a 3 star place and it is. It was clean and quiet. It had everything I needed. Good value for money. Bed was comfy. Neighbourhood visiting cat was sweet. The driveway was a little hard to spot and get into.

The Toukley Motor Inn offers old fashioned service that seems to be forgotten in this ever changing modern world. Yes!, we still deliver your breakfast to your room at your unit at your requested time. Our breakfasts arrive with your toast, still warm, home-made fruit salad, and cleanliness is our number one objective.
We had a great stay at 3bedroom apartment. Very spacious to accomodate our large family, though layout of the bedrooms is abit weird. Plenty of parking and good location (near shops etc). Lovely views of the lake from the huge balcony.

Ok, it’s on me I know. I should have read the reviews before booking this dump. I agree with everything other reviewers have said. Stay elsewhere! I can add the following to the reasons why not to stay, Hair all over the tiles in shower, and no soap holder in shower. Dried crud on the bedspread, dirty floors, TV didn’t work, tiny tiny room, no receptionist on arrival and don’t even bother with the “exceptional” breakfast. I could go on, but why bother, like I said just book somewhere else.
