My son and me were cycling from Herne Bay to Lands End. On day 2 we went from Folkestone to St Leonards. This place was old school in a good way. The reception was welcoming and I loved the room. They had a back room where we could lock the bikes. In some hotels these days you are hermetically sealed in. Here there was a little bay with sash windows. We kept them open and fell asleep to the sound of the sea!! Magic.

A beautiful house and gardens in the Victorian seaside resort of St. Leonard’s. Including grand characterful bedrooms with garden views and separate private bathrooms. Locally sourced breakfast will be served to the room.
Spent the night here last night and all I can say is that you need to pay them a visit. The hotel is absolutely stunning. The owners are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the furnishings are luxurious. Breakfast was delicious and because of the quality, I assume it was sourced locally. It really was a shame that we only spent one night here. I am going to make it my mission to visit again!

Alison is a very professional ,caring and attentive person. Everything we needed to know was explained .The room we stayed in was amazing with uninterrupted sea views , and the facilities in the property were first class with the breakfast was a positive ten out of ten .. We are already planning our next trip to Hastings and we will be staying at Alison’s place. The weekend trip was a belated birthday treat for my husband. There was a lovely touch from Alison in the way of a bottle of bubbly in our room . Fabulous x Thank you Alison Nerinder and Hardeep

one of the ‘clean’ folded towels left for us was dirty!!! only enough hot water for one of us to shower. shower door doesn’t shut properly. shower leaks out onto bathroom floor. Bathroom stinks of smoke and I have asthma. no hand wash only shampoo left out in half empty bottles so used by previous people. mattress was WELL used, had springs sticking out and was squashed down and very uncomfortable. moved a chair and it fell apart in my hands. was generally dirty everywhere. Lock on the rooms door was broken and twisted. Curtains don’t shut properly. I would not stay here again! The only good thing is that there is free parking and the location.

Cute little rooms, clean and bright. Comfortable bed and pilllows, with additional items for your convenience. Bathroom separate but keys provided for front door, inner door, room and bathroom. Nice and quiet. Excellent breakfast in the ballroom and friendly helpful manager. No car park but easy to park in the surrounding area. Would definitely book again if the need arose to stay in or near Hastings.
