We warmly welcome you as our guest! Liekoranta is a family business with decades of experience. Our business includes accommodation services and party and celebration services, The inn was built in 1901 by Herman Ulven and his wife Aleksandra Rasi, and they were granted rights to run a hostelry. Some form of food and lodging has been available continuously for more than 120 years. Our hotel rooms were once maids' rooms, so each one is unique. We are striving to renovate the inn ourselves to give it the respect it deserves and develop our business for the enjoyment of our guests. We hope you will enjoy Liekoranta!

Here you stay in the high quality B&B vacation house, at our private Tentsile tree tent campsite surrounded by an amazing soundscape or in the simple but beautiful Satukurki Cabin. Kommee Kurki is LGBTQ+ Friendly. Kommee Kurki is located in the countryside of Sastamala in the Tampere Region. Why not take a break in this relaxing atmosphere? Kommee Kurki is situated next to a bird lake which is home to cranes and whooper swans. The Tentsile campsite is at the best viewpoint to watch the cranes and is available during May-September. The well-equipped vacation house of 100 m² for max 6 people is available year-round. During May-September there is also the cute and simple cabin Satukurki for max 4 people available.
We (Dutch family with two small kids) stayed at this gem of a B&B / farm stay during our spring break. We absolutely loved our holiday at the cottage. It is beautifully located near Tampere, right next to a forest and a stunning lake that attracts crane birds. The spacious cottage is very convenient with all equipment (of course a good sauna!) and information that we could have wished for. There were even some toys for the kids. There was a small playground and trampoline near the house, as well as a beautiful place to BBQ. What really stood out for us was the hospitality of host Anja. She was very welcoming and helpful during out stay, providing suggestions what to do in the area (e.g. the Mr. Goat house, Olafs church and hiking) and helped us with sauna and BBQ. We would really recommend Kommee Kurki! Kiitos, moi moi.

I stayed by myself in the Suite, I was celebrating my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Suite is large with a small table for two, sofa, a large bed (not a double, they can be separated), a mini kitchen with dishware and utensils for four persons, separate water closet, huge bathroom with a great bathtub and large sauna. There is also a balcony but it is outdated and not very pleasant. The Suite has an air conditioning unit which keeps the room cool even in the hot summer months. There is a lot of room to store your belongings even during a longer stay. The mini kitchen is great since there is a real fridge with an icebox for storing your food and a microwave for heating food. The large bathroom is just great with two showers and a very comfortable, large bathtub. The sauna is also large. Cleanliness of the room was excellent! One thing I missed was a dish drying rack to dry the dishware after washing them. During a longer stay guests surely want to use more dishware and wash them themselves so a dish rack would be a good addition to the mini kitchen. There is enough space for it, too. Check-in was done in the cafe and check-out was just leaving the room key in a mail box. This kind of check-in and check-out was easy and quick, I really liked it. The hotel should mention in their web site that they provide a few free parking spaces behind the hotel building. I accidentally found the parking spaces when I was looking for free street parking space. There is a gym under the Suite so there was a bit of noise but fortunately it didn't bother me at all since the noise level was very moderate. The breakfast is limited but still fresh and tasty. I would have thought they would have a wider bakery selection included in the breakfast since they are a bakery after all but the selection was just a few day-old buns cut up in smaller pieces. That was a bit disappointing together with the small selection of the breakfast but doesn't effect the overall experience which was altogether amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend this small boutique hotel: unique, stylish and budget friendly luxury!

The restaurant cook must have fell asleep at the stove. Poor excuse of dinner at premium pricing is not a way to make a positive first impression, or any impression at all. Restaurant staff were unable to do anything about the quality issues, and apparently were not used to having to deal with feedback, as they completely stopped serving us afterwards. Rooms were average quality, though.

I stayed there a night during my visit in Sastamala. Location: Hotel (or i’d rather Call it motel) is in a city center - close to local mall. Rooms: they have build this hotel 70s? and it looks like the same. Rooms need definitely facelift. Service: it was kind, when we check in, but it is more to just have the room keys and then you Are more or less alone. E.g. When we checkout, we needed to leave keys in our room, because lobby was not open at morning. Anyways staff was helpfull on first evening, when we came, asked them to order a taxi etc. Value: 95€/night - way too high price for this experience. Summary: this was OK stay, i needed a room for a night and got it. You dont have many options close by. So dont expect any kind of luxury, but you can sleep there.
