Very good hotel
Reviewed By Monica II have visited this hotel again, after 2 years, and it remained the same nice and very clean place. The rooms are good, the bathrooms very clean, and it is all we needed for our short trip to Parc Saint-Croix. I had an excellent sleep also. It also has just next to it a very good restaurant, which makes dinners very easy to plan :) I would improve the breakfast though....

Reviewed By Sheps5558Newly opened budget hotel & very good value. Staff friendly & speak English’ Just off the N4 & in a car showroom zone-so not particularly aesthetic. However,eateries & supermarkets are close by. Great venue to visit all the interesting places nearby.

Perfect quiet visit
Reviewed By MexiDiverAfter a long day of cycling, it was bliss to come to the tranquility of the convent. One of the few travellers around, I made a nice salad which I enjoyed in the garden. Next morning Joelle prepared a great breakfast. St. Ulrich is located conveniently near Sarrebough and I can fully recommend it!

Very clean but very bad sleep
Reviewed By CrisBeeeeWe stayed in two in 08/2015 in this place. The good part upfront: everything is very very clean and our room looked quite neat (it was under the roof with traditional furniture). Bathroom was nice and spacy, too. But you obvioulsy stay overnight in a place to sleep and in this place we couldn't sleep at all. The bed is just 190cm long and has a foot end, not fitting for e.g. a man of a quite regular size of 188cm. As the bed has a width of I guess only 140cm no diagonal sleeping was possible. It was also very hot under the roof - without AC you need to leave the window open but there is the main road with continous traffic that you hear quite heavily. So: no country side sleeping experience at all. Also the owner gave us a strong feeling of not being very welcome. She told us to not answer ANY questions at our arrival (@19:30) as it was time for dinner for them. We actually had just one (1!) question about the opening hours of the supermarkets. We should ask our questions the next day. Very kind! Breakfast was a delusion as well. Not only that we had to eat from a plastic foil, it was a 6€ extra p.p. for no eggs, no muesli, not even a croissant. There were nice home made marmelades and some apple juice, but then just baguette, low-cost yoghurt, prepacked supermarket ham and cheese. Having then travelled in the region for two weeks, I can confirm that you find even in very nice and touristic areas aboslutly beautiful coffee shops with nice views and your own table where you get for 6€ a good coffee, a croissant, orange juice and baguette&marmelade - and enjoy your time! No WiFi. This was the first time we were really very disappointed by Gites de France.
