Not much to do in the area
Reviewed By PamelaRogers1313The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The sheets were crisp and the mattress was very comfortable. The heating in the room was fantastic. The bathroom was big and clean. We did not try the spa facilities so i cannot comment on that. The problem with this hotel is that there isn't much going on in Ribaritsa. There was no info around activities in terms of sightseeing. Reception service was poor. For example, we were not greeted enthusiastically. When we asked about spa services, we were almost told off by the receptionist. Upon checkout, they did not wish us a pleasant trip home or anything. We dined at Star Merak which was wonderful. After dinner we decided to have a drink at the hotel. We had two options: the restaurant or the bar. The restaurant chairs and tables were uncomfortable, but drinks were very cheap. The ambience was poor. The bar was empty and looked like a messy basement. Breakfast was uninspiring but OK. They should have offered more types of the local fried bread. Overall, the hotel is clean and has got great potential, but our experience was below average.

totally not comfortable
Reviewed By associatedthe nature around is beautiful but the whole area looks abandoned after a war. in the hotel there are no double beds, but only twin beds that can put together, the sheets are only individual and very small, after two seconds are removed from the mattress. Saturday night was a nightmare, in the next room there were 6 people who screamed and moved the furniture until 4am. breakfast is very poor and the staff is not suitable for the work he does. we tried the restaurant but the quality is very low.

Huge disappointment
Reviewed By Elena GThe hotel looks nice on the pictures but the furniture is old and there is mold in almost all of the rooms. They are so dark that you cannot even notice that the light is on. You cannot read a book or put a make up on. The price is too high for such a neglected place. Really bad service, our breakfast was awful. It was served in plastic plates and cups! Old bread with butter and absolutelly artificial jam and cheap cheese. I had to order something else because i find it rude even to think that yor guests have to eat this. I buy my dog a better food.

Restaurant - excellent food!
Reviewed By S6975EB_We visited the restaurant for a dinner, and we were advised by the owner to try trout with honey and walnuts. It was pretty delicious! We also had tomatos with homemade pesto, plus roasted patatos with garlic. I can't even tell how wonderful everything was! We highly recommend!
