This hotel with restaurant has more than an asset(trump card), its location, at the heart of the village, its nearness of the peak of Bugarach and overhanging the river in bénéficial waters, its 7 spacious rooms(chambers) and a quality restoration(catering). You will take advantage of the big terrace where from you will hear(understand) the lapping of Sals, no such thing to put itself in appetite! To the menu a traditional cooking(kitchen) which will treat as well the amateurs of meats as fishes.
We stayed in the hills above but due to questionable happenings had to spend a night in town. This hotel is welcoming and lovely. Our hostess heard our story and led us to a beautiful room with a terrace overlooking the river. "Now you can sleep" never sounded so sweet. Very reasonably priced with a nice on site restaurant. If you are staying in Renne let Bain, stay here.

We are located in Rennes les Bains, close to the Thermes, in a small village of about 250 souls. It is a village house, atypical by the retro decoration where we propose five rooms, four with shower and washbasin included and one with the bathroom on the landing. To best accommodate our guests, we have a small lounge, a dining room and a terrace for sunny days. We also offer for those who wish, a breakfast served as a buffet and a catering for lunch and dinner, all made by us. It is with great pleasure that we will welcome you to our home whether you are a spa, a traveler or a long stay ...
We were not staying in the accomodation but have had some great meals at le Therminus 'Table de Hote'. The Moules Frites were superb and copious. Everything is freshly made and they use local products where possible. Vegetarians are catered for and they were able to accomodate the gluten free requirements of my BIL.

Erick and Laurence welcome you to stay at their B&B Au Coeur de Rennes in the heart of the spa village of Rennes-les-Bains. The bed and breakfast has been completely renovated in recent years. We have five comfortable rooms en suite with showers. There is a comfortable sitting and reading area, and a pleasant dining room for our breakfasts and table d'hôtes, as we call an evening meal in France when served in such friendly circumstances. All floors have wifi access. It's possible to rent electric bike from the B&B, and you can benefit from a relaxation massage performed by Laurence. For those who prefer self-catering, our apartment makes an ideal holiday base in the South of France for anyone seeking luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 4 people. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room area, one bedroom with two twin beds which can be made into a king, a second bedroom with double bed. All guest of the house have a access to the garden, near the river.
It was great to have a room in this cozy town, meeting a fellow traveler, eating home cooked delicious dinner with hostess and visitor. A warm and cozy refuge in a rainstorm. Breakfast was served as well, dinner if you request it is available, cooked like home. An apperitif is offered prior to meal. Clean. This is a very quiet town, and it feels very special. It was a holiday. Cafe closed, thermes closed due to storm, but jackpot, an amazing filmmaker across the street shows his interesting documentaries nightly. I would go again, I miss it.

In the middle of the Cathare County, our 310 meter high campsite is a perfect haven of peace and tranquillity. Situated in the spa city of Rennes-Les-Bains, at the foot of the Cardou pike, you will be staying at the heart of the Cathare castles, 50 kilometers away from the historic city of Carcassonne (a Unesco World Heritage Site) and one hour away from the Mediterranean seaside. Our campsite is ideally located for a family holiday based on discovering amazing places and relaxing in a wonderful landscape.
The website says it is, but we turned up at 3.15 to find it deserted with a notice saying lunchtime was 12-4! The entrance to the ground was a muddy mess, the sites themselves not much better. Rather unpleasant huts were everywhere as was a lot of rubbish. We called the numbers on the notice, after waiting nearly an hour; one went to voicemail and the other answered with a guy who told us we could find a site and someone would be round in the morning, and would we like the code to raise the barrier? We said no it was open (probably broken or put out of action like most other things there.) So we found a site.. then another to get perhaps less mud. Then to the toilets - the entrances were literally boarded up and all the toilets were showing engaged. The showers were likewise shut. So we phoned back and he told us to use the toilets and shower by the swimming pool. We ignored the desire to point out he could have told us this before and hung up and went to the toilets by the empty pool. They were locked. So all we were getting for our full, €19 fee, was some mud to park on and some power which may or may not have been switched on. We called back to say the toilets were locked and for the money we'd like toilets and hot water. We got as far as saying the toilets were locked when the line went dead. No one called back. We left. Neither of the names on the website were who we talked to, for what it's worth. Certainly never going back.
