Had a nice time visiting and helping family with renovations nearby. Hotel stay made the daytime work go easier as we had great and clean place to sleep and shower and we were able to enjoy a decent breakfast each morning.

We had to cancel our reservation on the morning of the trip, due to one of our group's dog becoming extremely ill at the pet centre where he was staying during our trip. We had to drive 16 hours home that day to get back to the pup. We are just asking for our room fee to be held as a credit so we can enjoy our stay at a later date.

IHG Award Winning Direct waterfront hotel on the Chesapeake Bay. Hot breakfast included with your stay, everyday. Observation Deck and Pier to get close to the Bay. Walking distance to all the restaurants and nightlife The Narrows offer.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were polite and efficient. We walked along the boardwalk just outside the entrance and it looked over the water with great views of wildlife even though it is so close to the main road. The views from the back of the property are not to be missed.

Newly Renovated smoke free
I would sleep in my car before I stayed in this hotel again. Was charged a super high price ( I have stayed in choice hotels all over the US and have never disappointed with them) but this was a negative star room. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke, so you couldn't leave the heat/ac unit on. The bathroom door was a pocket door that didn't close and the overall condition was just a run down rat hole. After a bad night sleep I couldn't wait to get out of the place.

Kent Manor Inn is an estate on 220 acres of farmland. The Inn is well known as the venue of choice for WEDDINGS, SPECIAL EVENTS, BUSINESS MEETINGS, RETREATS and FAMILY REUNIONS. When availability permits we welcome travelers to stay with us for a night or more. The Inn has 24 individually decorated guest rooms; each with a private bath. Flexible event and meeting space is available for groups of most sizes. The waterfront lawn is a perfect setting for a wedding and group team building programs. The Preserve is a seasonal venue that can accommodate as many as 240 guests. Our Executive Chef creates wonderful menus that fit most budgets. Our catering staff is well-seasoned and ready to attend to your every food & beverage need.
Kent Island Resort was extremely underwhelming. Poor sleep due to uneven floorboards leading to a lopsided bed, paper thin walls and a very loud wedding party with people yelling and running through the halls at all hours of the night. Floorboards creaked, and the space felt very sterile, lacking any sort of warm decorative element. We additionally booked (and paid extra for) a room with three beds and were put in a room with only one bed, smushed on the third floor of the building with only tiny windows. Guests on the first and second floors have their own balconies outside, whereas we barely had a window to look out and felt extremely claustrophobic in our room- almost felt like being locked in a psychiatric ward. With a wedding taking place at the “resort” during our stay, we felt like any peacefulness and relaxation was disrupted by the event going on. Very unfortunate that we paid $260 for a night at this place. Wish we could get a refund. We checked out as early as we could.
