"Safari Camp Osian" is a desert tented camp situated at Osian about 62 kilometers from Johpur. We provide overnight camping, Camel Safari, Jeep Safari to surrounding areas, and vision to the tribal's houses. Safari Camp Osian is a deluxe permanant camp dining, bar with tent having all modern amenities. All tents have en-suite toilets, with hot and cold showers. We organize camel polo game and camel race. And you could enjoy the view of Siberian birds.

Reviewed By RohitGwaliorWe were 4 families including 8 adults and 8 kids. We stayed at the resort on 31st December 2019. It was one of my most memorable new year eve celebration. Live singers, band, DJ was absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The Royal Deluxe rooms we stayed in were neat and had brand new look. Enjoyed the camel ride and Jeep Safari inside the resort during sunset. Overall a great way to celebrate new year eve at Camp Thar.

True luxury and care in Osian
Reviewed By stan0391My only regret is that I was only able to stop over here for a matter of hours! What a truly excellent place. If you are looking for luxury near Jodhpur, I definitely recommend them. I had a lovely camel ride and sundowner, including a surprise welcoming into the camel rider's home for chai with his family and an introduction to life in the village; had a very comfortable stay in a tent with full amenities (hot shower!); enjoyed a delicious multicourse dinner by candlelight; wandered beautifully kept gardens in the desert ringing with birdsong as the sun rose; and overall experienced an incredible level of attentiveness from Reggie Singh and all of the staff. Reggie is as personable a host as you could ask for, and everyone working at the camp was keen to meet my every need, including going out of their way to accommodate a couple more unusual requests. Reggie's Camel Camp exceeded my expectations, and if you're thinking about a trip into the desert from Jodhpur, this is the lodging to choose, I assure you! Thank you so much to everyone there for a lovely experience!

Decent stay, Not great!
Reviewed By AmitChamariaI believe it is one of the bigger camp sites in Osian however not much popular. We were the only couple in the camp during our visit which was a bit awkward. The food was decent and the evening program was okish. We were however charged extra for camel/ jeep safari even though the web site mentions this as complimentary. Heating arrangement was good and the bathroom was good as well. No major issues from hygiene point of view. Finally, osian is not a desert. At max, you get a couple of sand dunes. So do not have high expectations.

Terrible! Don’t go there
Reviewed By BenEvans901We are just leaving this “desert” which is basically a field of sand surrounded by bush. There was no running water, we had to ask for everything 4/5 times and had to argue for an hour when we arrived to get the lunch we had paid for. To add to all of that during the night the stray dogs were able to get into our tent and we woke with a dog at the end of our bed. The food was ok but the level of English was very poor and we could communicate through our driver. The dancing in the evening was quite fun though.
