The Ofunato-onsen is located at the seashore with panoramic view of Ofunato-Bay. You can enjoy the great view from guest rooms, lobby and hot spring baths. It`s amazing to see the sunrise from open-air bath of hot spring baths. And you can enjoy wonderful and delicious dinner that are using various seafood from Sanriku-oki.

Reviewed By YigalMI stayed in this hotel as part of our cherry blossom tour of central/north Honshu. we stayed in some nice hotels, but this was probably the most enjoyable. We arrived rather early, so we left our luggage and toured the Goishi coast. Beautiful. We then came back and checked in. There was one person who spoke perfect English, and whenever we were around, came by and made sure we have what we want. During dinner he came by to explain the dishes (see pictures), served us coffee in the Lobby after dinner, and the next day also made sure that the check out was smooth. Only then we had a longer conversation with him, and it turned out he was the hotel manager. It is this paying attention to details that made this stay so enjoyable. There is naturally an onsen, separate for men and women, the outside part overlooking the bay, dinner was plentiful (see menu) and is structurally different for the different guests. Their specialty ifs the swordfish head, but one can eat that much... In the lobby they announce the sunrise time, it is worth waking up, even briefly to watch it (see picture). Overall, highly recommended.

Reviewed By 557ballsI lived in this hotel again, after I had been here on October 2015. Many things around the hotel were changed, many restuarant, community mall, and others. This hotel is very nice and comfortable. Thank you for the good service, and a warm welcome.

Reviewed By Yagity目の前が海で、夜は星が綺麗に見えて、とても美しい所でした。 温泉宿と勘違いして、部屋にお風呂付きの部屋にしてしまいましたが、温泉ではなく、ちょっとがっかりしましたが、ジャグジーバスだったので、ゆっくり出来ました。 大浴場も清潔感があり、海が見えて、広々してました。 お食事は、鮑、ホヤ貝、キンメの塩焼き、牡蠣、お刺身など、海鮮がメインで、どれも新鮮で美味しかったですが、すき焼きの牛肉もとってもジューシーで、美味しかったです。 朝食は、おかずが豊富でしたが、冷めてたのが残念でしたが、どれも美味しく頂けました。 海が見えるロビーで美味しいコーヒーもサービスがあり、とても満足でした。

安くて清潔でいいホテル
Reviewed By donburiko2021/07/30(金)に一泊しました。安くて清潔でいいホテルです。東北の旅の割引等で￥5,225/人で泊まりました。ホテル内はスリッパ、トイレは共同、風呂は大浴場で維持に手間が少なくていいように工夫された小さなビジネス風なホテルです。ホテルの人の対応はよかったです。BRT地ノ森駅から徒歩5分でした。3.11の津波で流されて、広い道路の両側は整地された土地ばかり目に付きます。周りに食堂は見当たりません。近くにコンビニ（24時間営業）が2店あり、夕食・朝食に便利でした。階段に津波で2階まで壊れた旧ホテルの写真があり、頑張っているんだなと感じました。シンプルな部屋、サービスでいいホテルでした。
