Reviewed By Cruiser50176728081The room looked fine at first glance but looking at it closer you can see it seriously lack cleaning. The linen dirty, smelly and the curtains dusty. The shower looked dirty and my friends toilet did not even have a toilet seat and the staff was not really worried about that and still charged the same price. Not a good place - They will have to look seriously upgrading or even just cleaning. The are below the standard of all guesthouses in Botswana

Reviewed By Alex_Egypt_PurpleWe spent one night in the standard room. No Tv signal , no extra blanket , only 1 light blanket , no proper covers for mattress, not comfortable at all. Bathroom has no bin , no amenities and the whole room could do better with proper cleaning. Air conditioning and wifi was good, and location , next to choppies , which was good because the guest house doesn`t do meals.

The lodge is situated in Nata, Botswana. Clients have a choice of camping or staying in one of our luxury chalets, family rooms, twin chalets, or presidential suite. Okay place to visit the salt pans
Reviewed By HaelenThis place is okay to stay for one night to visit the Salt Pans nearby. The bungalows are a bit dark and there is AC, but no mosquito screens. The place has seen better times, but is still fine. The food at the restaurant was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the very salty swimming pool.

Nous ne sommes ni backpacker ni campeurs, mais nous voulions une expérience différente au Botswana. Aucun regret, bel accueil et belles rencontres : Anglais, kenyans, suisses, français. Super Braaï préparé par notre hôte, idem pour le petit déjeuner, et gros succès des pizzas au bbq !! Tout le confort d'un camping simple mais bien placé sur la route du nord ou pour visiter les pans alentours. merci

Burned to the ground on September 16, 2019
Reviewed By DurkfdA big fire engulfed Northgate Lodge and it burned to the ground. When I stayed there in July, the property was reasonably well managed, yet needed some repairs. The service was friendly as always. The internet service is free, but it can only be accessed from the lounge or from a few rooms.

Double Charged
Reviewed By Celia HWe were double charged, with the transaction going through twice on the card machine. When I phoned to try and sort it out, I received absolutely no help. I would not advise anyone to use this facility.
