Reviewed By Trip06799331023Wife and I stay here 3-4 days every year, Staff always pleasant and friendly. Clean and quiet hotel and breakfast is always a plus. Hotel close to Cracker Barrel and small pizza place,within walking distance from hotel.

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mineral Wells-Parkersburg, West Virginia. We are 5 miles from downtown Parkersburg. There are several restaurants nearby including Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Country Store (R) in our same parking lot. Parkersburg Wood County Airport (PKB) is just a short 15-minute drive away. While in our area, you may want to visit many of our nearby local attractions, which include Blennerhassett Island, Holl's Swiss Chocolatier and Grand Central Mall. We also serve the housing needs of many local businesses. A few of these are Chemours, Kraton Chemical, Hino and the many oil and gas companies. We are very proud of our customer service. We have won both the IHG Torchbearer award as well as the Quality Excellence award. This puts us in the top 10% of IHG hotels. We offer the following: free high-speed wireless Internet, a 24-hour business center, 50 Inch TV, 24 hour indoor pool. Each room has microwaves, minifridges and Keurig coffee makers.
Good location, clean rooms - for express hotel, it fills the bill!
Reviewed By Barbara GParkersburg was a half-way stop on our trip and after a long day of driving and needing easy access to the expressway, this Holiday Inn was great for that purpose. The rooms were clean and even the remote was cleaned and placed in plastic before our arrival. Keurig station - although we didn't use it - was stocked appropriately. We had a very nice breakfast buffet where health safety protocol was encouraged with plastic gloves available at all the serving sections.

This modest, all-suite, low-rise hotel is near Interstate 77 and is 10.8 miles from Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park. The relaxed suites have en suite bathrooms, as well as free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, microwaves, minifridges, coffeemakers and wet bars. Some come with kitchenettes and whirlpool tubs. A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is provided, as is a local area shuttle and RV parking. The hotel offers computers for guests' use. There's an indoor/outdoor heated pool, a gym, and an on-site bar, plus a meeting space.

Reviewed By FamontherunWe stayed here for 2 nights as part of the WV Marble Club. The place is easy to find, feels safe and us easily accessible to restaurants and stores. The staff was very nice, especially the breakfast attendant. There is a pool which we did not use. I felt the layout of the hotel was strange...I got turned around a lot. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I did not care for the bathroom products and despite being a non smoking hotel, people smoked right outside the doors and the hallway would occasionally smell smoky. There was a free breakfast, but it was pretty limited. Hot foods were eggs, sausage and waffles. There was pre packaged muffins and pastries which were not very good. There was white bread, yogurt and cold cereal...enough to get you on the road but nothing special. There was oj and coffee. Overall, this was a good stop, especially as we had a lower rate because of the marble show.

Reviewed By chuckj839Checked in to the room Thursday evening. Rooms were suppose to be non smoking, but there was lingering smoke odor in the first floor entry and hallway. On the way to our room, notice there was an ice machine in laundry room, but had a sign "out of order", asked owner/manager, he said if you want walk down road to another motel to get ice. Once we opened the door we smelled smoke in the room. We requested to move to 2nd floor room, since they were non smoking rooms originally. On about the 2nd or 3rd day, started smelling smoke in hallway on the second floor. Only personnel that we saw was the house cleaning crew. Also the website mentions breakfast , but we're told they could not serve a breakfast do to health rules. There was not any coffee or coffee pots in rooms, some had iron and ironing boards, our room on first floor had neither. Not satisfied with service,

Reviewed By Vicky WWe stayed at this Hampton on our way from Ohio to North Carolina. Consistent with most Hamptons, it was clean, comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was basic. There was a selection of restaurants nearby. Recommend to all when traveling.
