I'll start off by saying the room was clean! That was a plus! The bathroom's cleanliness is always how I begin to rate a hotel. The staff was pleasant, but annoying at times when it came to the girls. Our entire soccer club stayed at this hotel as we didn't have much of choice. My only negative comment is they consistently lectured the girls throughout our stay. They couldn't talk in the halls, they couldn't congregate in the lobby, voices had to be kept at a level 1, parents had to be present when the girls where in the hall, the pool and the exercise room. Keep in mind these girls traveled in groups of 3-10 and are old enough to swim on their own and walk through halls. There were times when the parents were also told to be quite because the front desk indicated they could not hear guest checking in. Sounds fair right...? Wrong, “we” the parents, were NOT loud (lol). If you’re a light sleeper, do NOT get a room facing the highway or the front of the hotel. The traffic was so irritating at nights. From motorcycles, emergency vehicles, cars racing, and even birds chirping non-stop in the nest above the awning (lol) made it difficult to sleep. The 3rd/4th floor rooms heard it all! Also, for such a decent size hotel with five freaking floors, why is there only one elevator AND why was it so damn slow? Granted the hotel was booked, but Lord…it took forever! I definitely got my steps in this past weekend as the stairs became my best friend! This is a decent little hotel. Probably not the best selection for larger groups, but if you're traveling during a non-peak season or when they’re not completely booked, this would be a good choice. Last, not many restaurant options nearby, but the complimentary breakfast and the evening happy hour w/ finger foods made up for all the other little annoyances!

Never got a mobile key notification before arrival and did not get the room I selected in mobile check-in, they said I would have to "wait for it to be cleaned" or take another room, even though there were no maids anywhere in sight, it was after 3 pm. They said they were mostly empty. They wanted me to take a room by the elevator or on the next floor up, which I didn't want due to noise. I ended up in a room at the end of the hall that had a dead bug on the window sill and dead bug wings on the bathroom floor. On checkout my bill showed some weird charges that I've never seen before on other receipts where I used points. Front desk clerk had to check with manager to confirm they weren't charging me an extra $20 per night. There were two $20 pending charges on my credit card, they did clear. The pool was nice, the breakfast was good, and the bed was fairly comfortable but the pillows were crappy.

Staff and Management were WONDERFULLY accommodating and kind! We stayed four nights traveling with a teenage sports team. The hotel handled every request with kindness and grace, and they generously tolerated the kids getting noisy and messy (for which we are sorry!). They helped us with things like getting ice for our big coolers to take to our events, they even gave our car a jump when our battery died, even giving us water while we waited for roadside assistance when the battery ended up needing to be replaced. They let us hang out in their lobby all day while we waited, checking in with us to make sure we were ok. With kindness like that, we will surely be returning here to stay again next year during competition season!

Courtney saved the day by assisting in jump-starting our car in the morning after we checked out! Note to self: don’t leave the fridge plugged in the car all night. This Fairfield Inn is a notch above most others, very clean(outstanding housekeeping by Dusty). The staff is welcoming and the hotel is quiet.

I get it, cheap hotel, cheap experience. Not true of all Super 8 hotels, but this one was special. The room had peeling paint 8n the tub, back security door was broken, and not even a crappy coffee pot in the room.
