Short family vacation. It was our first time to the Outer Banks and we were very happy with our hotel choice. The Hilton Garden Inn was centrally located on the Island right on the beach. From our balcony we had a beautiful view of the beach, ocean and pool with gorgeous sunrises every morning. Jeremy, the General Manager and his team offered excellent and friendly customer service throughout our stay. Special shout-out to Max in parking lot security, Melvin who assisted us with beach chairs and Vanessa in the restaurant. They were all so friendly. When traveling to the Outer Banks, I strongly suggest the Hilton Garden Inn Kitty Hawk.

When we opened the door to check for bugs there was a roach on the ceiling. We immediately left and went to a clean and bug free Hampton. They would not give us a full refund. When we were complaining about the roach another guest was complaining about bugs.

The Cypress Moon Inn rests on the shore of The Albemarle Sound In Kitty Hawk on the Outer Banks of NC. The Inn has no immediate neighbors and is a quiet place. All of the guest rooms overlook the sound. You can access the soundfront porch directly from your room where you have a table and chairs, loveseat and chair and a hammock swing chair. The porch is a great place to view wildlife, the sunset ,relax and read as well as have your breakfast. The maritime forest that surrounds The Inn is home to a wide variety of wildlife. The birdwatching is great. We provide bicycles and kayaks for your use and a pier and deck to access the sound here at The Inn.The bottom of the sound here is a sandy one. The waters of the sound are clean, generally calm and great for watersports. Golf courses are nearby the Inn. The Atlantic Ocean Beach is 1.5 miles away with free and ample parking. There are over 100 miles of beach here with half of that being undeveloped within The Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The Outer Banks are home to The Wright Brothers National Memorial, 19th century lighthouses and lifesaving stations, the first attempt at an English colony, the wild horses of Corolla and vast wildlife refuges. The fishing is world famous. You may also go surfing, kiteboarding, windsurfing and hangliding. Lessons are available for all of these activities. All in all there are many unique sights to see and activities to participate in or you can just relax at the Inn and enjoy the best view of any B&B on the Northern Outer Banks. The Cypress Moon Inn is entirely non smoking.Thank you for inquiring about us, Greg and Linda Hamby
What a beautiful, comfortable inn. It is on the bay side of the outer banks, not the ocean but the view is stll beautiful. the room is great with antique but comfortable furniture. What a treat. I was looking for a place that was nice to start and end our day as we explore the area. This was just the place. I can also imagine staying around for the day if we hadn’t lucked on with such nice weather. The owners were helpful but not obtrusive. Looking forward to another visit.

You won't find much beachfront property around here, but Beachwoods has a lot to offer. The location is great. The property is very well maintained, updated, and clean. Rooms are spacious with ample storage. Bed was comfy as was living room furniture. Love having ceiling fans for added comfort. They have designated parking by the beach...very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No negatives!

Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas is a family-friendly interval ownership resort. Our 2-bedroom, 2 bath condominiums are equipped with a Murphy bed in the living room in order to accommodate up to six guests, and include fully stocked kitchens. Sea Scape is in close proximity to local attractions, shopping, and dining. The beach is 2.5 blocks from the resort, and we are adjacent to the 18 hole Sea Scape Golf Course. We offer a wide variety of amenities including an indoor pool and hot tub, recreation center, 2 outdoor pools, 2 tennis courts, 2 picnic pavilions with charcoal grills, playground, mini-golf & more.
Kitty Hawk is a lovely area. We would definitely return, but we would not stay at Sea Scape. The pros: the kitchen is well stocked, building M is an easy walk to the ocean (you have to cross a busy highway, but there's a pedestrian signal and a crosswalk), friendly staff, laundry (not in the unit) is free and easy to use, good storage in the master bath, noise control within the unit is good, ping pong, pool table, pool, mini-golf, corn hole, tennis, and basketball are on site. The cons: some reviews say their unit are updated, ours was not. The kitchen floor (your first impression) needs to be replaced. The TV is way too small for the living area. Curtains need to be added both for sleeping in and for ambiance. The beds are not very comfortable. The second bathroom was comically outdated to our teens. The master bathroom needs a door. Noise control between the upper and lower units is almost non-existent.
