We stayed in room 117. Unknown to us the inn had rented all the rooms around us to brewery representatives who were participating in an event at a local restaurant. These people arrived, drunk, at the motel @ 2am and started yelling cursing and carrying on until 3:30 am. There is no onsite management after 11pm so you’re really on your own. When I checked out this morning the manager at the desk didn’t ask how our stay was….really didn’t act like he cared but I decided to let him know anyway. He still didn’t care

Jacksonville's Magnolia Inn is the perfect spot for romantic getaways, vacation and business travel.
The Magnolia Inn is located about two short blocks from the downtown main street. It is on one of the major roads entering Jacksonville but noise was not an issue. There is parking on the side street. Our room and the kitchen area for breakfast was upstairs. The room itself actually had a bedroom, a sitting room and a bathroom. The sitting room has a single bed in it if you are traveling with a child or third person. The breakfast is a help yourself- they had set-out fruit bowls, coffee was made and cereals/tea are available. Orange juice and cook it yourself frozen waffles. During covid you are directed to seating on an outdoor deck.

The McCully House Inn built in 1860 is the oldest home in Oregon currently operating as an inn. The inn has six unique rooms and three deluxe suites along with a beautiful English garden and patio. Located in historic downtown Jacksonville on the corner of California and 5th Street, just steps from great dining, wine tasting, and shopping, it's the ideal location for a memorable Jacksonville experience.
We needed to travel to Medford a couple of times in March and decided to stay in Jacksonville. It's so close to Medford yet you're in a small Historic mining town. It's like stepping back in time! And, to our delight, there was a lot of great places to eat at too. I did some research and decided to call the McCully House to find out a little more about the rooms. I spoke with Kathryn and she was extremely helpful and kind. She spent quite a bit of time explaining each room and all of the amenities. The home is beautiful! We decided to stay in The Westminster Suite which we loved! The bed was really comfortable and the layout of the room is great not to mention very quiet. Patti was the host both times we were there and she is super nice! She was soooo helpful and accommodating. Thank you Kathryn and Patti, we really enjoyed our stay!! We highly recommend McCully House!

I’ve been coming here for a long time. And years ago, before the old owner sold this gem, I could count on the Inn to welcome my out of town visitors. Under the previous management, service was excellent, food very good, and atmosphere charming. Fast forward to May/June 2022. Under new management the restaurant promised and updated menu and superior dining experience. Instead… a menu with less options than ever ( only ONE item could make do as a vegan option..), higher prices ($3.00 for mediocre bread and 38 for mediocre salmon ), and service as slow as molasses. As always, I’m expecting summertime visitors, but this time we’ll pass on the Restaurant here. It’s a shame to see this place only keeping up with price increases, and not reflecting the trends of the times.
