Disa Lodge Darling Voorkamerfest weekend in Darling 707927516 We were a group of 8 people staying at Disa Lodge over the past weekend. (8-9-19) Our main reason for visiting Darling was we were attending the Voorkamerfest for the 8th time in 10 years. This was our first stay at Disa Lodge. The lodge is run in a very hands on manner by hosts Pat and Bobby. Nothing is too much for this hosting couple who go out of their way to make a stay at their lodge and outstanding one. The price to stay at Disa Lodge represents excellent value. Disa Lodge is a quaint oldish building just as many houses are in Darling. That said everything in the lodge was in perfect working state. Our rooms were comfortable and adequate for our needs. Breakfast prepared by Pat and served by Bobby was absolutely perfect for our needs. Our stay was a for 2 nights and all I can say is that we will definitely be visiting Disa Lodge again in the future. Highly recommended for a nice, quiet, peaceful, well priced stay.

We had a fabulous night at Elly's place. She was really accommodating. The breakfast was 5 stars, delicious fruit salad with yoghurt and muesli followed by eggs to order. All beautifully presented and served in her dinning room.

The room was neat and clean.Beautiful white, clean bedding. We paid one thousand rand for the night, and compared to other places we've been at, the Granary does not compare at all. The garden cottage that we stayed in, looks like a small, dirty storage room from the outside. We feel that they need to maintain the place. They can at least have a pool on the premises, beautify the back garden, etc. Thank God we only booked for one night. I will never return there again.
