We are located in beautiful Christina Lake. We are in the process of renovating our rooms. We have 30 rooms. Some rooms contain kitchenettes. All rooms have coffee pots, mini fridges, and microwaves. Some are pet-friendly. Our pet-friendly rooms are beautiful and have tile flooring. We also have 48 RV sites with water and power, plus a Sani-dump.
Stayed two nights mid-August. Room with queen bed, single sofa, a table and two chairs. Table at a dark corner so extra lamp would be nice. Love the two bedside touch lamps with handy electric plug-ins (4 total) and UBS ports. Old-styled wall A/C a bit loud but I slept well! Kitchenette got everything basic you need. Two mini fridges! Bathroom fine. Love the soft carpet. Staff (a couple, owner?) very helpful. Motel on Hwy 3 (but not directly on) at edge of town, one minute drive to the Provincial Park with gorgeous sandy beach and warm water. Gas station, a restaurant, ice-cream shop, cafe, burger and pizza take-out (all with outdoor seatings) within a couple minutes' drive. Also in the vicinity, a short easy loop trail called Christina Creek Trail. Beautiful white lotus flowers abound on the creek under the bridge.

DONT BELIEVE THE PICTURES..We booked this online. When we arrived we ahould have known better than to oversee all the toys and garbage strewn out front. When we went in to register the "lobby" was worse than the outside. We got our room key and off we went to the back end of the building. There was no one else there except one other couple right next door. We got out of our vehicle and were swarmed by mosquitos. We didnt even check the room. We were out of there. The guy at the front desk i thought was very understanding said to cancel my booking through the website and he wont put through the charge on my Credit Card.. Ya he put it through...place is a dump!!!

We loved staying at Barefoot Villas! Our “motel room” felt more like a cottage and had a beachy/rustic feel to it - but very clean and cozy! Was perfect for a night to getaway and just relax and explore the area of Christina Lake. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating! Would come again and absolutely recommend! Comes with a complete kitchenette (only thing I would’ve liked that wasn’t there was a kettle), an outdoor bbq and patio!

When I first stayed here I booked and paid through Hotels.com. The owners contacted me directly and asked for a credit card number - and I naively gave it to them, even thought my booking was all going through Hotels.com. When I got there the owner casually said she was having difficulites with the online system and said she would just cancel that and bill me directly. Sounded OK - but later I noticed I didnt get my travel reward from Hotels.com.... ? So I booked again recently and the motel did the same thing. Called me and asked me for a credit card number. Now Hotels.com come tells you that when you book and pay through their site to not give out your credit card info - so I told the manger that. I had booked way in advance for a special weekend and my reservation still shows as valid on Hotels.com And so I recently decided to call the motem and confirm my reservation. Was told that they cancelled it because I would not give them my credit card - and when I told her that Hotels.com says not to give it and that it still showed a reservation - she said too bad. So if I had not checked I woudl have drove all the way out there...to find out I had no place to stay. Horrible. They are likley doing this to just avoid paying a booking fee to Hotels.com. That seems like theft to me - if you do not want to be part of Hotels.com, then dont register. The motel itself is dated and spartan and overpriced in any event. It is not lakeside and there is a noisy trailer park that they run right besdie the little motel. There are much better palces to stay.
