Hotel Antica Fenice will welcome you in an elegant and romantic setting: a historic 18th century country house. Surrounded by greenery and in a quiet location just 10 minutes from Venice and 4 km from Marco Polo Airport, it is the ideal place to live moments of relaxation in a charming stay. The hotel has 12 rooms (single, double and superior double) with well-decorated interiors, private bathroom, TV, A / C and free Wi-Fi. We offer an excellent service and a magnificent garden where you can relax and enjoy a drink from our bar. Complete the structure a large free parking, the presence of an elegant and romantic dining room, with large windows overlooking the garden and a charming patio where breakfast is served during the Summer Season surrounded by plants and flowers. Hotel Antica Fenice is easily reachable by public transport from both the Venice and Treviso airports and the Venice-Mestre train station. The bus stop is in fact 50 meters away.
Stayed here for two nights recently in a 'Superior room', This accommodation has a strange layout for a hotel, with four rooms upstairs to the front, four to the rear, and four in a Chalet-style separate building on the grounds. Our room was clean but drab, with worn and poor quality bedding & towels. The bathroom, while newly tiled, had old ware and a tiny corroded shower. No sound-proofing between rooms- I was woken on both nights around midnight to the sound of the TV blaring in the next room. The restaurant didn't open at all for the duration of our stay- we weren't told the reason why. We were shown where to let ourselves into the building with a key if it was locked up on our return at night- in fact this was the case, with the bar closed also when we got back on our second evening at 9.30 pm!!! There was a sign pinned to the locked inner door (which lead to the reception/bar area) with a phone-number to call if you needed assistance during the night- not very reassuring for a tourist......... The only servicing carried out in our room next morning was to make the bed- the bins weren't even emptied! Breakfast was poor quality and everything was laid out in the heat of the morning completely uncovered. The only good thing about this 'hotel' was the wonderful Guillana (maybe not spelled correctly), who was the sweetest, most helpful, friendly and hard-working staff member you could wish to meet, and also the fact that it was very quiet here generally and nice to sit and enjoy the garden area in the evening- huge potential to make this a great place to stay, but sadly not being availed of. I wouldn't stay here again.

First of all, the front desk lady was very rude and not helpful at all when we were checking in. The rest of the stay we were encountered with a hostile attitude from the receptionist. I HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL the day we checked out because I was bitten by bugs that were present on the bed. I am now full of bite marks and have to take medication for the next 2 weeks. I am trying to see if I can get a refund but I cannot find anywhere where I can file a claim in their booking system and I doubt they would give me the refund since they wanted to CHARGE ME TWICE. Definitely the worst place I have stayed at thus far.

Small boutique hotel consisting of 11 rooms, complete with private bathroom with shower or bathtub, diversified in the furnishings and in the name: our rooms, in fact, are not marked by numbers but by names. Five are equipped with private terraces where you can, among other things, enjoy the continental breakfast, served ormally in the room at the time chosen by the guest. There are services available, payable and bookable, we have our own car park and private shuttle from and to the main arrival and departure points for those coming to Venice (Venice airport, Piazzale Roma, Terminal Cruises, Railway Station).
We had a really great experience in this place! The owners are very friendly and helpful. They even managed to get us a pizza from a restaurant even though it was already closed. They also own a little ice cream shop right next to their hotel and the ice cream is truly delicious. The room was also really nice and perfect for one night. The location of the hotel is very convenient for a trip to Venice as it is five minutes away from the bus station. In total this hotel made for a nice experience in Venice.

We stayed here for one night on July 5, 2019 for a quick stop in Venice. The B&B is a short 10 min. drive or bus ride from the airport. There was free parking for our rental car. We took the bus right across the street to Piazzale Roma in Venice for about 3 euro roundtrip. We bought the tickets at the B&B front desk. The bus was air conditioned and on time and runs until about 11 pm so no problem getting back after dinner, unless you get lost in Venice and miss the last bus like we did. Even then it was a short cab ride back to the B&B. Our room was clean and comfortable with reasonable air conditioning in spite of the record breaking heat. The best part was the friendly staff and wonderful breakfast with cappuccino, made to order eggs and pastries.

This is a great place to stay. 10 mins by bus from Marco Polo airport in one direction and 10 mins from Venice in the other. Spotless, roomy accomodation with all facilities and more. On our second day a mini fridge and microwave appeared in our family rooms in the annexe around the corner from main hotel Colors, how thoughtful. Breakfast is good and the welcoming host changed ours after noticing that we hadn't eaten much the previous day; she is so willing to help. Best buy is the 3 day travel pass for €40 for an adult, you can see so much, just be prepared to queue ? or try an alternative route which is fun. Try the Number 1 at night which travels along the Grand Canal and see Venice at night. Highly recommended!! Helen and Matt
