The Parador in Calahorra was easy to find and has a large car park. Check in was welcoming and efficient and our room was large, nicely decorated and furnished and very comfortable, i.e. exactly what you expect of a Parador. It is located in the centre of the town, which is normally an advantage, but as Calahorra is a rather dismal place it doesn’t really matter that much. The new part of town is like Coventry or Milton Keynes with sunshine, while the old part is so shabby and run down it feels decidedly third world. Fortunately, near the hotel there are several good bars and we found the beers and tapas to be good and very reasonably priced. Breakfast at the hotel was, as anticipated, very good. It comprises a very good selection of fresh fruits etc as well as good quality hams and cheeses. I didn’t notice any obvious indication, but you can also order cooked eggs as well. The bottom line is that this is an excellent hotel at a very reasonable price, and if Calahorra suited us for a one night stopover, we would certainly use it again.

My wife and booked this ‘hotel’ via Booking.com for a one night stay in February 2022. When booking we were not aware that the bar beneath our room would be open all night with truck drivers and young teenagers using the fruit machines, television, bar and other facilities which we could clearly hear. In addition, just outside our room an air conditioning unit was making a dreadful noise, possibly to service the bar. All this stopped us having any sleep whatsoever. By 3:30 am we decided to ask the barman to turn off the air conditioning unit which he was unwilling/refused to do. My wife and I decided to drive away from the hotel at 4:30 am and stop later and sleep in our car. This meant missing our prepaid breakfast which we had to pay for ( the invoice had already been prepared and printed). Despite emailing Zenit head office and the hotel itself I have not had the courtesy of a reply. Finally, my wife and I are in our seventies and have used many hotels but this has been our worst experience.

Decent little hotel, good bar, good staff, no other language than Spanish spoken (apart from the owner) so if you don't speak Spanish, there's no point. I'm speaking Italian English French German and a bit of Spanish, and I struggled at times. Nice bar and the food is also good

Situated right on the Camino in the town centre this is an unspectacular but pleasant place to stay. The rooms are fine and well kept and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment but the hotel is so central it makes up for some of its deficiencies. Served its purpose well.

Centrally located, right off the Plaza del Raso and the Mercado de Abastos, to the side of the Iglesia de Santiago, these apartments offer comfort and cater to your every need. Rosi is a welcoming and generous host. We loved our stay here. Attention has been paid to every detail. The apartments are furnished very nicely to give the feeling of being in a home away from home. We were in the third floor apartment, and did not mind the stairs, but you can also choose to be on the first or second floor. Rosi sent very helpful information before and during our visit. She kindly left welcoming drinks, biscuits, cakes. Free parking in the nearby garage was very welcome, as well as pleasant and safe. The towels were soft and a good size, and the amenities were also good quality. I recommend Apartamentos Roseta in the highest possible terms. Muchas gracias, Rosi!!!
