Helpful and friendly staff. Great facilities. Pool and gym are first rate. Pub grill serves quality food in a relaxed environment. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. This hotel has a great deal to recommend it. We’ll drfinitely stay there again.

At the Dibbinsdale Inn the only thing we’re economical with is the price. There are endless reasons for staying the night. Ample sightseeing opportunities - miles of coast and countryside – golf courses galore (with Bromborough golf club just a 5-10 minute walk away and Hoylake, home to the 2014 British Open Golf Championship, within a 30 minute drive away). And we’re very well connected here on The Wirral – close to the region’s road and rail links, so getting to major cities such as Liverpool and Chester couldn’t be easier. You really couldn’t be better placed for a great night’s sleep.
We stayed overnight as we were attending a function nearby. The room was spacious and well appointed and very clean. Great value for money. We didn’t dine at Pesto but having arrived early had a few starters in the bar. Beautiful food. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was top notch

We're all about convenience at The Royal Oak Hotel Wirral, in a great spot in the heart of Bromborough. And with good transport links nearby, you'll be well placed to explore business and leisure destinations such as Liverpool and New Brighton. Take a flutter at Chester Racecourse. Stroll around Port Sunlight, a charming village with over 900 Grade II listed buildings. Grab a bite to eat just next to our hotel, then head out for the bright lights and vibrant nightlife of Liverpool. After a busy day, relax in your spacious room and huge, comfy bed.
The whole place is in dire need of redecoration and a good clean. Our bathroom was disgusting, mold on the ceiling and walls, taps rusty and falling off. The toilet rim was black. There is dirt all around the tiles, it looks like a mechanic has been in there. The pub itself has masking tape over the doors, ready for painting but it looks like it has been there for years. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I stayed here last week just for the one night. Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience was not a good one. I booked the accessible room, mainly for the shower. On first impressions, the room didn't feel 'fresh'. It smelt musty. Also - the main problem - when I went to bed, I found that there was no bottom sheet on the bed. I felt quite ill - it seemed dirty to sleep on a bare mattress, but due to the time (it was late and there was no one on reception) I couldn't do anything about it. Therefore, I spent a very uncomfortable night, sleeping on a bare mattress which I felt was grubby. Next morning, when I was leaving, I did tell the cleaner, who apologised profusely. But the whole experience wasn't nice.

Recommended by a good friend. Immaculate in every way. The Host was lovely and charming. The room was perfect with everything provided. Local takeaways and close to Merseyrail from Lime St. 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi. Looking forward to my next visit.
