Went up for a night for a graduation. The location was perfect! The staff were wonderful. I just made sure I brought my Lysol and Clorox wipes (as I do wherever I stay). The a/c was either freezing or not on. Oh yeah, I forgot, our fridge didn’t work either.

My husband and I stayed there for business and pleasure. The first room had a jacuzzi tub (total surprise) with double beds ($175) and the second room was a king bed ($114/night). We travel during the heights of graduation festivities and was happy to find something AFFORDABLE that WASNT infested with anything. I used to work housekeeping and the rooms were clean so good job housekeeping team! Also I always check the mattresses wherever I stay…and they had additional mattress protectors and they were clean! So while it wasn’t the Ritz or Copley…it was comfortable and affordable-especially on short notice during event season.

My family had the misfortune of a house fire which displaced us from our home. I would like to start this by saying there are 6 of us total, my mother and father-in-law, my sister-in-law, my husband, myself and our one-year-old son – we stated we needed two, two-bedroom suites which unfortunately were not available, so we settled for two, one-bedroom suites. We let it be known that studios were not an option for us. My in-laws are all in one room, leaving my sister in-law to sleep on a pull-out couch, while myself, my husband and my son are in the other. We were assigned room 315 and they were assigned room 303. They have had no issues in room 303 for the most part but I cannot say the same for my room. Please see below for the timeline of events leading up to today. • September 12, 2021 – Room 315 is a handicap room that needed renovations, so they had to relocate. I spoke with Phillip at the front desk who was going to try to get a joint one-bedroom suite and studio so that my son’s pack n play could be in the joint studio while we had the one bedroom. Phillip assigned us room 122, a one-bedroom suite and room 102, a studio. The two rooms were on the complete opposite ends of the hotel however we kept both rooms and gave my sister in-law the studio. • September 30, 2021 (around 3:55am) – My husband and I heard rodents scratching in the walls of their room and made sure to record the sounds. • October 1, 2021 – I reported to the front desk of the noise to woman who’s name is unknown. **Noise continues over the next few days** • October 6, 2021 (around 1pm) – I was using the bathroom and a rodent scurried across the floor and into the bedroom. Reported to Jasmine (sp.?) at the front desk and was told they would lay traps. No traps were laid. • October 6, 2021 (around 4pm) – My mother in-law spoke with Daryl at the front desk who was also disgusted and then assigned them a new room, room 110. • October 6, 2021 (around 9pm) – My mother in-law was unpacking everything from room 122 for my family because my husband was sick and I was working – a rodent then scurried across the floor in the new room. My mother in-law used makeshift traps and put towels in front of all doorways. • October 7, 2021 (around 3:30am) – Again, we hear rodents scratching in the walls. • October 7, 2021 (around 8am) – I woke up and checked the doorway towels leading to the hallway and the towels were moved just enough leading to believe that a rodent was able to get in and out. Just before I reported to Jasmine at the front desk again, I checked the door next to their room that leads outside, and the door was being held wide open with a roll of paper towels. I then reported all the above to Jasmine and was told we could move to room 308 when I returned home from work later that day. • October 7, 2021 (around 5:50pm) – I speak with Phillip, room 308 was assigned to someone else and he then informed me they were being dropped down into a studio, which we made clear since day one a studio is not doable for any of us. Phillip was going to call a supervisor and figure out a plan. • October 7, 2021 (around 6:30pm) – Phillip called and said we can move to room 204. Phillip brings me upstairs and shows me the new one-bedroom suite. I informed Phillip that the room reeks of marijuana but if it’s the only one-bedroom suite available, it will have to do. • October 8, 2021 – As my husband is putting everything away, he opens the cabinet door above the refrigerator is off the hinges and falling off. • October 9, 2021 – I closed the air conditioning vent in the living room as it is right above our son’s pack n play and noticed mold covering the entire vent. • October 13, 2021 – I am cooking in the kitchen and the light on the ceiling nearly falls out of the ceiling, hanging on my wires. I reported it to the woman at the front desk whose name is unknown, who then reported it to Daryl in front of me. The woman informed me that maintenance would be in the following day. • October 14, 2021 – No maintenance showed. • October 15, 2021 (around 6:30am) – I was getting ready for work and a rodent ran out from under the couch, ran under the desk and then ran in between the dishwasher and the wall. There is a very clear rodent infestation in this establishment, and nothing is being done about it. There are families like us who are living here, who have one year old’s crawling around on the floor – the last thing any family should be worrying about, especially in a situation like ours where we have enough going on being displaced from our home due to a fire, is having to deal with a rodent problem. I was under the assumption that the front desk would’ve taken this up with upper management however that was not the case. No one should have to look up home remedies for rodent repellent while staying in such an establishment. On top of the above-mentioned rodent infestation, the house cleaning has been less than subpar. In the beginning this was all silently tolerated because we are all very well aware of how difficult staffing is during this COVID pandemic. In my in-laws room alone, I know they have dealt with many issues. Please note, they do not even ask for housekeeping maybe four times a month, absolute maximum. They haven’t had any of the basics refilled since day one, for example, the empty tissue box which my mother in-law left upside down to let housekeeping know it needed to be refilled, no soap, etc. We have even tried helping by rolling up our own dirty towels and stripping the beds ourselves. But after being here since August with zero changes, this is completely disgusting and unacceptable. I have taken photographs of what my room looks like post housekeeping; dirty marks and crumbs on the floor, dishes left in the sink, our toilet bowls never being cleaned. I’m confident the floors in both the bathroom and kitchen are never mopped. Again, to have a one-year-old crawling around in such an environment couldn’t be more unacceptable. I must also mention the copious amounts of fruit flies that have been present in each room since day one – before we even brought a drop of food into any of the six rooms we have been assigned to. Many, if not all, of these issues could have been prevented. We are all so upset with what’s been going on. After reading review after review of places to stay after our house fire, we chose this establishment. We did not go into this expecting rainbows and butterflies but what we have gotten so far is much worse than anything we could have imagined. Rodents, mold, filthy rooms after housekeeping has been in, maintenance never showing up when a light nearly detached from the ceiling and could have potentially injured not only two grown adults, but just a one-year-old baby. What a disgrace. I am never one to “leave bad reviews” or ask to speak with upper management, but this is something I could not hold back. This is my family’s health and wellbeing, as well as many others and that is not something I am willing to sit back and mess around with. I sincerely hope these issues are something that you will take seriously, as it will only get worse.

I stayed here as I have a dog and it can be very difficult finding a place that accepts animals and at no cost! It's located right off the highway near many stores and restaurants in walking distance. Excellent customer service , whether is be from the Housekeeping staff , the maintenence man , or the manager Amit. Had a small issue in the room and maintenence was right on it. The manager is highly responsive to any requests , will definitely be back!
