Silvia and Jan are the most gracious hosts you can find. When traveling abroad, we often rely on the kindness of people to help us through. Here our host went above and beyond their usual roles, not only provided us with the nearby attractions and estimated traveling and touring time, helped us with restaurant reservations, but also taken care of all our accidental needs, and answered all our questions about the region. They are resourceful and knowledgeable, and best of all, they are friendly and always ready to help. During our stay, one morning when we entered the breakfast room, we were surprised with a birthday cake and the festive decoration. Silvia and Jan were so thoughtful that they went out of their way to celebrate my birthday. We arrived as strangers, we departed as friends.

Nice hotel
Reviewed By travelalot04This is a very plain, typical German style, no frills hotel. Room was clean, average size with enough space for a small table and chairs. As with most hotels in Germany, no a/c nor were there any fans which were really needed! We booked a Mosel view room, but only got a 'side' view since we not in the front but in the right side of the hotel. The restaurant had a very nice patio area with not enough shade umbrellas to block the evening sun. Food and wine was great and reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful and also a typical German affair; no complaints here. In all, good value but don't expect much.

Reviewed By 34jm35We had a great stay here. There were 3 adults in our group and having the family room with the extra half bath worked out very well. The balcony was nice but would have been better if it faced the river. The restaurant downstairs was great. We ate a wonderful breakfast each morning and had our evening meals there too because the food was so good. I would highly recommend checking out this place if you are traveling in this region.

Reviewed By Minne dDit is voor ons al de 2 de keer dat we naar hier komen . als eerste de ligging lekker rustig , mooi centraal aan de moezel . Dichtbij cochem en beilstein , leuke wandelwegen in de omgeving . Het appartement was weer super deze keer de bovenste lekker groot mooie living alsook de slaapkamer en badkamer . Hele fijne mensen , geen moeite te veel ieder dag verse broodjes bij het ontbijt . Ze maken ook nog zelf wijn , die erg lekker is daarom deze keer genoeg meegenomen
