Third time I start this......not sure what is wrong with Tripadvisor! After a two day visit in Venice, was nice and lucky us it was not really busy, we picked up the car at the airport and drove to the hotel in a hour. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the small town of Arcugnano and has a beautiful scenic overview over the valley. We had two opposite rooms on the 1st floor, one with a double and one with twin beds, to suite a family of 2 adults and twins of 17. The rooms are spacious, have excellent beds, a good aircon and a modern updated bathroom. It can be a little noisy due to the restaurant below and other guests on the 2nd floor. The WIFI is a little slow which is caused due to the location of the hotel and a lack of a fast internet connection, so streaming of movies can be a thing so make sure you have enough internet MB's on your mobile available if you need fast internet.. Pool is not to huge but big enough for a cooldown and a suntan afterwards on their sunbeds. The most pleasant thing is the made to order fresh homemade breakfast! Great food, sun shine, nice temperature and splendid views make it superb! The hotel located central for trips to Venice, Padua, Verona, Milano, Brescia, Garda Lake and the closest town of Vicenza, although some of the roads to town / highway are small and steep > be aware of the bikers and opposite traffic especially when it rains. Overall an excellent place to stay!

The softly rolling hills of this verdant landscape are what inspired the genius of architect Palladio, the same hills that still today surround the splendid setting of the exclusive Hotel Villa Michelangelo. Built in the 1700s as the country home of the noble Tomi family of Vicenza, this elegant and serenely harmonious building is the perfect place in which to leave the bustle of daily life behind and let yourself be pampered by the refined luxury and exquisite service offered here. Come to bask in the princely elegance of the spacious halls, the lovely guest rooms and suites, to enjoy the large swimming pool that sits surrounded by olive trees, indulge in the fine traditional cuisine at the La Loggia restaurant or relax with a round of golf at the nearby exclusive club. Vicenza, Padua, Verona and Venice are not far away for a day trip to discover the fine art, wine and local culture that dates back centuries.
Let's start with the excellent: a wonderfull villa with a really stunning view upon two valleys that make you feel you are in a famed "relais & chateau": the building is just beautifull and the hotel's public areas are just beautifull and nice to rest, read. The restaurant is excellent and we had 2 great dinners on the beautiful terrace. The swimming pool is large and nice, it obviously has known better days but is honnestly a nice place to swimm and really large. So why 4 stars and not 5. May be because we just did not sleep the first night as the temperature was almost 30° (our by-the-way nice room was under the rof in the attic)...the AC obviously did not work, which, as Italy went through a very hot week ruined our first nigth...As we told reception about this, the very smiling lady seemed to discover the issue, something hard to believe, and we were offered an air fun to "improve" the experience. Well it did improve significantly though not entirely. We were all the more surprised to have to pay the water bottle we asked for on the last day (we spent 3 nights)...Something we found a little mean... Otherwise, a great address by all means...JUST AVOID ROOMS UNDER THE ROOF IF YOU WANNA SLEEP DURING A HOT SUMMER....

Bravo!

The farm Colli Berici is located in the green heart of Berici Hills, a few kilometers from Vicenza and is a great strategic point to visit all the cities of the Veneto. The farmhouse has 5 bedrooms both double, single and with the possibility of adding a third bed, all with private bathroom, TV and air conditioning.
Stayed for 2 weeks with my 2 sons, a fantastic visit! Warm environment with an even warmer family that runs the B&B! They were incredibly welcoming! Felt like part of the family!

For us Welcoming is natural. If you like the countryside, nature and looking for a quiet place just a few steps from Fimon’s Lake, with a warm and rustic smiling, this is the place for you. We are 10 km from Vicenza, 50 km from Verona and Venice, Our five rooms, all with private bathrooms and basically furnished in rustic style are part of our essence, as our four pitches for camping that are behind the accommodation and with beautiful countryside’s panorama, the camping is equipped with electricity, hot and cold water, and is possible to put out sewerage (waste-water) for campers and caravans. The lovely smell of freshly cut grass, or of wheat or corn freshly harvested and the cycle path where you can walk, run, jump, directly to Fimon’s lake or even go directly into the city center of Vicenza, without having to pass on busy roads are our good strengths. In the last fifteen years we have had many guests and almost all have become part of us and we remember them pleasantly, and we believe that it is mutual, because many of them are returned. If you love tranquility, naturalness and semplicity, you must come in our agriturismo. We don’t offer you only a holidays, we offer you a good life in our countryside.
I came with my bicycle and tent, and had a fabulous time. There is ample shade, two tables under a canopy, and immaculate bathrooms. I can't imagine the place being ever crowded, it's so peaceful and remote. The owners are really sweet. It's really good value for money. When I came a French couple was spending 10 days here and using it as a base to explore the surrounds, great idea for a cheap and super holiday. Great cycling routes in the area as well.
